Hello, Friends HIVER, It's cold in the afternoon, what do you do? Drinking a cup of tea is certainly delicious, right? Yeah!! That's what I did this afternoon when the weather was cold and it was pouring rain. A cup of green tea and two tubs of taro and red bean flavored pia accompany the afternoon so it won't be too cold.
It's been almost a year I cut back on sugar consumption. Last time, I was consumed red tea with added sugar, but this time I consume green tea. As we know green tea is very good for health including preventing heart disease and stroke, inhibiting the growth of cancer cells, preventing diabetes, losing weight, stabilizing blood pressure.
The majority of Taiwanese love drinking tea, this is almost one of their lifestyles. Drinking green tea is also very good for skin health to keep it glowing and supple. And this afternoon I enjoyed being accompanied by the taro and peanut-flavored pia.
I bought Bakpia from a cake shop near the market, because the weather was raining, so I didn't have time to take photos of the shop. Every time I buy Bak pia I accidentally eat it at home. For the price of one bak pia for NT $ 15 or the equivalent of US $ 0.55. Not too expensive right? According to the price of the food itself. I bought two for NT$30 or the equivalent of US$1.1.
Every time I buy pia, I choose the red beans. This is my favorite food. Although there is a sweet taste, not an added taste. Likewise, the taste of taro, is sweet and delicious. Bak pia tastes not much different from Bak pia made in Indonesia which has several flavors: Bak pia with green beans, taro filling, chocolate-filled, red bean filling, and bak pia filled with cheese.
The price is also relatively cheap, with IDR16K you can enjoy relaxing and full. Happiness does not have to enjoy luxurious food, but how we enjoy the food and be grateful for what we get every moment. So that our lives can be calm. Happiness is our personal responsibility to determine it.
Thank you very much to read my post, I am so happy to share the foods that I Love it, and also my experience while I'm living in Taiwan. Wish everybody keep healthy and have a nice day.
