Hello lovely people …
Me and my friends planned to have a meet up to hang out before my travel. Usually we will go to the mall to hang out all day but since we dont want to go far as the mall located right in the middle of the city, we decided to just hang out in cafe around my friend’s work place. My friend recommend me a tea shop that just been opened by one of famous influencer in Indonesia, its Menantea by Jerome Polin.
Menantea, such a sweet name. They took Menantea from Menanti (pronounce similar in bahasa) which means waiting. If its not because of my friend, i wouldnt know that Jerome Polin is having a tea business.
This is all the menu. They have snacks too to enjoy with the tea. There’s one thing special in this place. Since Jerome is famous for his smart brain in mathematics, he made a challenge. For everyday, we have different mathematics question that we can solve and if we can solve them, we can get some discount. Its a pity that i forgot to take a picture of them. But, of course me and my friend skipped that part. Because our brain cant process anything related to mathematic anymore.
The store opened everyday from Monday to Sunday, from 10 am to 8 pm. So theg close pretty early compared to other places.
This is some of other pictures on how the place looks like. Its nit big nor stylish. For me, this is not the typical place that i want to sit for hours. I think this kind of place more better for to buy, grab, and go. Its such a pity though, i wish that they can renovate the place and make them more suitable to hang out. I think that it will be more profitable for them if people can hang out in the place. Nonetheless, me and my friend still stayed in there for 2 hours before we decided that we should move to a more “hang out” vibe coffee shop.
This is our order.
For the snacks, me and my friend choose Potato and chicken, with the sauce Spicy Huha. They have 4 different options as the sauce, which is:
- Pidis Jiwi
- Honey Mustard
- Spicy Huha
- Say Cheeze
I think the taste is fine but my friend said that she really dont like it. She feel like the taste is too bland and boring.
This is what my friend ordered.
Its MatemaTeaka, its a pun for matematika (mathematics) . Its fruity fruit tea. Mixed of fruit tea.
This is my drink. Its Inteagral, a pun for Integral. Its Royal Honey Milk Tea Boba. I was pretty hopeless about the boba since i am quite picky about boba. Surprisingly, they have such a sweet and soft boba. Its taste good!
