There are times that I'm not in the mood to eat something heavy but I don't want to skip a dinner as well. I worry that I would feel hungry in the middle of the night and then wake up to go look for a snack.
Whenever I'm in this dilemma, I often go for a burger or steamed bun for dinner but during this night, I wanted to try something different. I went to a place where I had never eaten before. It will be my first time dining at North South Cuisine which is a humble-looking restaurant that offers traditional Chinese food. They have the usual dishes that you may find on the menu of a traditional Chinese restaurant.
The dishes look good and the prices are also fairly priced which is good considering that they have their place and it's fully air-conditioned. This is a good place to dine during lunch time especially when it's too warm outside.
During that night, I ordered the Fresh Leek Dumpling.
This is probably the most basic meal that I have ever had during dinner but it is a healthy option for a dinner. It's light and it doesn't fill much but I can sleep well knowing that I ate something nice for the night.
This type of Dumpling is cooked by boiling which I prefer compared to the pan-fried version.
What makes a lot of difference when it comes to the taste will be the dip which is a simple vinegar and shredded ginger. I like this combination because it tastes fresh and healthy as well.
The restaurant has a calm vibe and it feels like I was in a quaint neighborhood as well.
After my dinner, I went for a walk along the strip of Beach Road.
