Hello, foodies. greetings today i made this recipe a fun east west fusion for foodies bee hive contest RED FOOD this is eggs in red sauce.Normally we make quite similar dips for some snacks. today I made it for our brunch as non-vegetarian Sunday.
Here is ingredients:
4 eggs I added one more after.
1 big tomato
1/2 red paprika
12 Indian garlic cloves
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp oil
3 red chilies ( mild but strong colored)
1 frozen red chili.
1 cherry size tamarind
2 pinches of red chili powder and pinch of beetroot powder.
peeled garlic, cut paprika in small chunks, cut tomato in small pieces.
In a skillet warmed 1 tbsp oil.
then added garlic cloves.
Then dried chilies and frozen red chili and red paprika.
Then chopped tomato pieces.and stirred for 1 minute.
Added tamarind.
Stirred and cooked for about 2 minutes.
Added salt and sugar.and cooked another 2 minutes until soft.
After cooled down ground it i a mixer.
Here is ground mixture.
Nice smooth and bright red.
Nice warm vibrant color.
Poured mixture in pan.
cooked 2 more minutes.
Added eggs
One by one egg are in the sauce.
I wanted bright red color so sprinkled some Kashmiri chili powder and 1 pinch beet root powder.
I cooked soft boiled eggs in the sauce.
Here is the red result.
we enjoyed our brunch with red sauced eggs with homemade rolls.It was really very delicious.before creating this recipe I wasn't thinking it will turn out so well.
