Hello dear hive friends,
Good evening, dear Hive friends. This morning, we experienced non-stop rainfall, which kept us indoors. During this time, I decided to whip up some delightful sweets to accompany our tea, and I'm excited to share the recipe with you.
For this recipe, I've chosen Kurakkan flour, a highly nutritious variety of flour. Kurakkan flour is known for its rich dietary fiber content, which aids digestion and helps regulate blood sugar levels. Moreover, it's packed with protein, calcium, and essential vitamins. Consuming foods made from Kurakkan flour is akin to nourishing your body with a natural remedy.
By incorporating these nutritious grains into various flour-based dishes, you can maximize their health benefits. Now, let's explore how to create delectable sweets using Kurakkan flour.
Ingredients;
š 1 cup of Kurakkan flour.
š 1/2 cup of sugar.
š Salt as required.

Method of making;
1 step.
To begin, take a pot and set it on the stove. Add 4 to 5 teaspoons of sugar and heat it over low heat until it caramelizes. Once it reaches the desired caramelization, carefully add some hot water, then remove it from the stove.
2 step.
Next, take another cooking vessel and combine Kurakkan flour and sugar. Gradually add coconut milk while stirring continuously to create a well-mixed mixture.
3 step.
Then add the caramelized sugar and the required amount of salt, mixing thoroughly.
4 step.
Before preparing the Kurakkan sweets, take a plate or tray and generously spread margarine all around it. Sprinkle sago seeds at the bottom of the plate or tray, as shown in the images below.
5 step.
Next, pour in the coconut milk and place the prepared Kurakkan mixture on the stove over very low heat. Continuously stir it until it thickens to the desired consistency. Once it thickens, incorporate 2 teaspoons of margarine, ensuring it's well mixed. Finally, remove it from the stove; this typically takes about 10 minutes.
6 step.
Now, swiftly transfer the mixture into the tray as it tends to thicken rapidly. Once in the tray, flatten it evenly and allow it to cool for approximately one hour. This is illustrated below.
7 step.
After an hour, flip the sweets in the prepared tray to the other side, and proceed to cut it into pieces.
So, this amazing and delicious treat is now ready and complete. These sweet pieces are known as "dodol." It's really not difficult to prepare and is very tasty. You can enjoy it with a cup of hot tea. Stay tuned for more updates.

Have a Nice Day.
