Thank you Foodies bee hive Community, happy greetings. On this occasion I try to share my experience of making chicken katsu curry.
Many international foods have now entered Indonesia, one of wich is the famous Japanese cuisine in Indonesia, katsu one of the meats to make katsu is chicken, which is this coated with breadcrumbs and then fried.
Katsu can be several with a variety of sauce, this time the sauce I made is curry sauce, don't need to go a restaurant, but can make own at home with simple ingredient.
Ingredient for making chicken katsu,
- 400 gram of chicken breast fillet
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 egg
- 45 gram of all purpose flour
- 50 gram of bread flour
- enough oli.
Step to make it
Step 1 season the chicken breast with salt, pepper evenly wait 15 minutes.
Step 2 beat the egg well.
Step 3 dip the chicken in to egg, then roll it in flour,then dip it again in the egg.
Step 4 then coat in flour bread, let stand for 30 minutes.
Step 5 then fry over medium heat about 10 minutes remove and set a side.
Ingredient for making curry sauce,
- 1 diced potato
- 1 diced carrot
- 1/2 onion
- 300 ml of water
- 1 set of curry
- 1 tablespoon of sweet soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of ground pepper
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of maezena.
Ground spices
- 2 cloves of red onion
- 1 cloves of garlic
- 1 pieces of candlenut.
Cooking step
Step 1 boil potatoes and carrot, drain.
Step 2 stir fry the ground spices until fragrant, add the onions, stir fry until fragrant.
Steo 3 add water, add potatoes, carrot, add curry seasoning then add the cornstarch stirred, wait a minutes and remove.
Step for serving prepare a plate, arrange chicken katsu, pour curry sauce, add rice. Chicken katsu curry is ready to eat.
