Hello, beautiful people of Hive! For today's foodie blog, I will be cooking dinner for my family. Since the meal is important, I'll make sure that everything I serve for my family is clean, safe, and of course nutritious.
While waiting for the time to tick to 5, I've been thinking of our dinner. It's our "big" problem as a mother to think of what viand to cook for every meal. Then, a colleague interrupted my deep thinking and told her my problem, which caught both of us laughing. She can relate because she's also a mother.
After that laugh, there's something popped up in my mind, Ah! That's it!
Right after I logged out, I directly go home for I'll be making dinner for my family.
We are four in the family, so I prepared a half kilo of sliced chicken (to be washed and cleaned).
One egg, to be mixed into the breaded mix (I used Crispy fry breaded mix due to time constraints).
Crack the egg and put it in a clean bowl and 2 tablespoons of breaded mix. Stir until mixed.
Gradually put the sliced chicken then massage with the mixture.
In a pan, preheat oil then if it's already hot that could cater the chicken then good to go. Fry the chicken until it becomes golden brown.
On my table, I have here various kinds of vegetables. I have squash fresh from the farm, spinach, malunggay (moringa), and sangig or parsley.
While waiting for the vegetables to be cut and cleaned my husband. I clean and put water in a pot and bring them to a boil.
It's done! Good job hubby.
It's boiled already then it's time to put the squash since it's hard than the other veggies. Boil them for 5 minutes only.
After a while of waiting, join the spinach and malunggay with parsley. Boil them for 1 minute.
Put a tablespoon of salt then taste it.
I also have here lettuce.
Here's the chicken that I cooked earlier. The first batch is four pieces on an orange plate.

As a working mom, every morning I left home early that's why I can't cook as much as I want due to time constraints. Only I can cook some nutritious food during dinner. However, the most important meal in the day is breakfast so it must be followed. But in reality, we don't have an appetite during breakfast. Do you agree with that? Hmmm...
Benefits of Vegetables
There are a lot of benefits of green leafy vegetables. It can protect us from various kinds of ill. It can boost our immune system and could be a source of Vitamin C.
In addition, the chicken is one of the sources of protein. In which protein plays a big part to build and repair tissues in our body.
