Hi Hive friends,
today I would like to show you a favorite recipe of mine. It's the first time I post something in this community and I hope you like it.
I've been thinking for a few days about what food my first post should be about, and I chose the red wine cake for it, it's a recipe from my mom and I've always liked it very much. Since I moved out and study I bake it more often in my student apartment- it's a kind of "home" feeling.
What you need for ingredients:
-250g butter
-180g sugar (I usually use a little less, it still tastes good)
-1 packet vanilla sugar
-4 eggs
-1/4 l red wine
-250g flour
-1 sachet baking powder
-3 tablespoons cocoa powder (real)
-1 teaspoon cinnamon
-100g shocko sprinkles (dark)
-Breadcrumbs
-flaked almonds
-powdered sugar.
That's how I always prepare it:
Mix the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs and red wine first. Then add flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, cinnamon and chocolate chips and stir long enough. I then grease the rhodon cake pan and sprinkle it first with a handful of flaked almonds and then with breadcrumbs. Bake the cake at 200 degrees for 50 minutes and then dust with powdered sugar.
I hope you liked my recipe and maybe you try it out yourself- if so, let me know how you liked it and if you have changed the recipe a bit or if you have any suggestions for improvement- of course I always like to hear them! Have a great Sunday!
