Cooking Preparation
In preparation for the recipe, we first mixed the ground coconut with water and have the coconut milk into the cooking pot. Prepare the coconut milk to boil for a few minutes.
Put the Landang first into the boiled coconut milk and wait until it was soften.
Add the other ingredients like the banana, sago, ube slice, and sweet potato slice then mixed as well.
Then add the amount of brown sugar to the mixture and let boil until the ingredient is already cooked and ready to serve to the whole family.
During the day I enjoy eating benignit because I can easily distinguish the flavor and the sweetness of my dish prepared. I like to eat benignit when it was hot but my father says that he likes to eat benignit the following day after you cook because the ingredients will absorb and it tastes better. The food is healthy and delicious .
