Greetings food lovers,
It is me again sharing with you today my simple crunchy banana recipe. It's been raining all day and it made us hungry so I want something to eat that is very easy and just available around for snack so no need to buy something outside.
Crispy sweetened banana chips
For the ingredients I used
newly harvest banana.
1/4 cup brown sugar dissolved in 1/4 cup water.
- Oil for frying.
Preparation
- peel the banana skin with a knife and rinse with water and let it drip to remove the water.
- Chop them thinly into chips and while slicing preheats the pan for frying.
procedure
- Into your preheated pan take one slice and try to dip if it bubbled it's time to put the banana chips. But I used a small nonstick pan so I divided them into two batches.
- continuously stirring to prevent them from sticking to each other until everything turns golden brown.
By the way I transferred them into a wider pan because I find it hard to stir for the batches when I was about to add on sugar.
- Lastly, add sugar and stir until it is caramelized. Remove from pan and let the chip drips its existing oil and cool down.
