Today I want to show you how I prepared this delicious recipe for a dessert called alfajor, I learned to make them from a friend who always made them at birthday parties, it caught my attention and I decided to prepare them for the first time and taking advantage of the fact that there was a small share, I wanted to contribute with one of these sandwiches, this delicious dessert is perfect for parties, sharing with family and friends, also to give as a gift to any loved one, they are very exquisite and soft, I loved the results. I adore doing this type of work and even more so because I love sweets, this occupation distracts me, it gives me peace, the results give me pleasure and happiness, apart from they are very easy to prepare. 🤩🤤
● 90gm de maizina
● 2 tazas de harina de trigo ( 240gm )
● 1 taza de azúcar ( 200gm )
● 1 huevo
● 2 cucharadas de mantequilla ( 40gm )
● vainilla
● sal
ingredients:
● 90gm of cornstarch
● 2 cups of wheat flour (240gm)
● 1 cup of sugar (200gm)
● 1 egg
● 2 tablespoons of butter (40gm)
● vanilla
● salt
Preparación / Preparation
Firstly, I put two tablespoons of butter in a bowl, then I added a cup of sugar to stir it so that it was as seen in the image.
I added an egg and little by little I added vanilla to taste, in the same way you can add the essence you want, mix well until you have a homogeneous mixture.
Subsequently, I added 90 grams of cornstarch, mixed well and added two cups of wheat flour, when it can no longer be combined with the spoon, we use our hands until it is smoother.
After having the dough ready, I stretch it very well with a rolling pin, for these alfajores I wanted to use two molds, and I took out many of these, I put them in the oven for 20 minutes over medium heat and they cooked well.
And finally, I prepared a snow sugar glaze with blue and pink colourings, I added it only on one side, after that, I waited for it to dry a bit and I proceeded to fill them with a meringue that I had already prepared.
And this was the result, by the way, they turned out great. 🥰🤤
