Noodle Perfect...
When there is nothing I could think on what to cook, I always turn to noodles. It is so easy to make into something scrumptious because noodles are versatile. That is why I always have them in store at home. Here, I simply made used of the vegetables available in my fridge.
You see, when I food shop, I buy vegetables spontaneously without having a list or what to cook for the week. What I did here was simply gathered the ingredients, prepared and cut everything before cooking. A very easy step by step procedure that could be cooked in less than an hour. And the sausages made the difference. You may choose what sausage you like. In my case, the spicy sausage gives this noodle a twist.
Mers´s Noodle Perfect
Ingredients: ( For 2 Servings)
3 cups Spiral noodles ( or any noodles you prefer), boiled
3 cloves garlic, crushed
2 spicy hard sausages of your choice, (here I used Debreziner and 1 Klobasse,
these are Viennese type of sausages)
4 pieces spring onions, stalks cut into bite size pieces
2 crispy -fried onions (how to make this... see below)
2 cups green Cabbage, cut in strips
a handful parsley
red bell pepper, diced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
cooking oil
Preparations:
1... In a hot pan with 2 tablespoon oil , fry the crushed garlic until they become brown in color. Add the spring onion, the bell pepper and the parsley. Mix until all are soft. Add the cabbage strips. Stir-fry until all ingredients become soft. You may add 2 tablespoons water or vegetable fond so as to make the vegetable soft until the water has evaporated. Transfer into a plate and set aside.
2... Meanwhile, cut the sausages and in the same hot pan with 1 tablespoon oil , fry the sausages parts until they are fully cooked . Add the boiled noodles and the fried vegetables as well as the crispy fried-onions (see below how to make crispy onion rings). Mix until the noodles are fully blended with all ingredients. Sprinkle the soy sauce, add salt and black ground pepper according to your taste preference. Serve hot .
How to make the Crispy-fried Onions...
Slice 2 onions into rings , spice with salt, mix with the hand to loosen them, then add this to a bowl of flour, coat each fully. Meanwhile, heat a casserole with oil and deep fry the onions . Turn heat to medium and continue frying until the onions become crispy and brown. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towel to absorb fat. Add this to the noodles.
