Most probably you have already noticed that I like to prepare my breakfast in the evenings, because I don’t have much time in the morning. Below is the recipe for one of our favourite’s ones - the chia seeds pudding with banana.

Before we get to the recipe, here's a little bit about chia seeds.
Chia seeds are native to central and southern Mexico. The word Chia comes from the Mayan language and means "strong". Thanks to its nutritional properties, it has gained a reputation as a superfood in recent years.
Chia seeds are small and easily digestible, so they can easily be added to yoghurt, smoothies or salads. If they are soaked before use, they swell and coat with gel, which is nutritious but contains no extra calories since is only water.

They are a rich source of proteins, omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, potassium, calcium and iron. Soaked seeds regulate digestion, hydrate the body, promote muscle tissue regeneration after sporting activity and give the body a long-lasting feeling of satiety. At the same time, they regulate blood sugar and help against blood clotting. They also have a beauty effect of strengthening the hair and purifying the skin.

Ingredients for 1 person:
- 150 ml of milk
- 3 spoons of chia seeds
- 1 banana
- agave or maple syrup
- fresh berries or any other fruits

In a small bowl add the milk and chia seeds, stir well, and leave it to rest overnight in the fridge.

In the morning add the banana and the agave syrup and mix it well with stick blender (or similar).

Add the fresh fruits and if you wish some cereal pops.

Bon Appetite 🍽️ 🍴 😋
