Life without food is like a plant without water, can't survive.
Many times you see me going to a restaurant for lunch. I love exploring a variety of cuisines. It reminds me of the different traditions and cultures in a locality or divergent places. Every recipe has its background or history as to why they have created. Cooking is all about passion and dedication, giving your heart to it to provide customers satisfaction and eventually patronize them. Today, I did not eat lunch in a restaurant; instead, I chose to eat snacks at one of the newest snack bars in Bogo, City called TEAFIOCA.
Reason Why I Reached There
I searched the top 10 most delicious snack bars in Bogo. Then this one appeared. Among those, I chose this because they just had their soft opening. With all honesty, I am unfamiliar with some places in Bogo, so I searched for the store's name on Facebook and message its exact location. Thanks, messenger finally found it.
The Outside View
This day is not solely going to this store. I am embracing my job and obligation as a mother and wife. After purchasing the needed stuff at home, I rode a tricycle from Gaisano to Taytayan, Bogo City, to reach it. That is accessible because it's just along the road.
Come On In!
There are food trends now in our locality or maybe the whole country, especially for Gen Z frappe, milk tea, macchiato, shake, and many more. They have all of this and even more. When I got inside, the smiling attendant greeted me and asked what I liked. I did not have any idea, so I tried looking at the menu and asked him about their best sellers for frappes.
The Menu and My Order
As I've mentioned earlier, they have a lot to offer. The attendant told me their best sellers are Taro, Cookies and Cream, Java Chip, and Magnum Frappe. I decided to order Cookies and Cream paired with Spicy Beef Tortilla.
The Interior
While waiting for my order, I had the chance to capture the whole area inside. Again, I asked permission. I like the ambiance because it's air-conditioned and the furniture and lightings are new. I so love the mural a supposed to ask who did it. However, I was ashamed.
On this side, you can see that the wall is in the process of putting a mural just like the other side.
The lightings are native in a style that suits the design of the entire store.
Finally, My Order Arrived
Oh, that is bigger than I expected. How can I consume it alone? Did I? Well, I did not notice I did it. The price is Php 189.00 or $3.45.
The taste of Spicy Beef Tortilla is a combination of a bit of salty but delicious meat with the balance of a bit of sweet pitta bread with cream sauce for only Php 128.00 or $2.34. I paid a total of Php 317.00 or $5.79.
For me, they are a perfect match. Sweet for the frappes and a unique taste with the tortilla. After a few minutes, more than five customers were coming. I would recommend this store to your family and friends.
Bogo City has a lot of extraordinary snack bars. I will never forget today's experience. That may be the last sweet I would taste in the meantime. My dermatologist said it's better to lessen sweet food because it will worsen the allergy on my face. I'll be back soon for some meals and refreshments. For now, I'll try to explore vegan recipes. I hope I can find one near our place.
Life is all about venturing into something new to keep it invigorating. Thank you so much for being with me today. Have a good day.
