Hi everyone. How are you? Hope everything will be fine. I hope you are happy and healthy. Last week, I met my friend. I met at one of the big malls in Jakarta. We shopped for some clothes. Not much, just one t-shirt, we didn't forget to eat. We chose one of the restaurants named Genki Sushi. This food is quite famous in Jakarta.
This restaurant is famous for its sushi menu. But, we didn't order sushi. We decided to order rice as we were very hungry. We ordered three menus, namely Deep Fried Chicken With Spicy Mayo, Salmon Chazuke Bowl and Baked Salmon and Egg Bowl. One more thing, we ordered ocha. Of course, everything is lost. Especially for those who really like to eat, all the menus are really delicious. I'm curious about the sushi in this place that I need to try.
For the fried chicken I ordered, the fried chicken was delicious. The outside is very crispy, but the chicken is still very soft. The spicy mayo as the main sauce in the food is very good. It goes well with fried chicken. For the menu I ordered, bake salmon and egg bowl, the menu is very simple. Salmon is cooked grilled. Then, wipe it thin and add rice and eggs. Simple but very good, but I was disappointed with Ocha. Ocha, this is not your typical Japanese green tea. They use pure machta mixed with water.
One thing that amazes me is the technology in this restaurant, usually the food is ready to be served by the waiter. However, this restaurant is served by a robot that already has a track. I thought, it was a food cart already lined up. The food cart is on the customer's right or left. We are just waiting for the food to come. When the food comes, we will hear the bell ringing. If we have already picked up the food, we need to press the button under the carriage. To walk on the train by itself.
I'm not going to tell you the disappointment. I want to tell you about this restaurant. This restaurant was founded in 1968. Of course I wasn't born yet. This restaurant started from the dream of a chef in Japan named Chef Sushi Fumio Saito. He dreams of combining traditional Japanese food with modern technology. From that dream, the chef created the concept of kirin sushi. This Kaiten is like an automatic food cart.
technology and food is a success in Japan. This chef started to expand his business to other countries. Such as Singapore, Hawaii, Hong Kong, Kuwait, China to Indonesia. Currently, Genki Sushi has 56 restaurant branches in Indonesia. Indonesia is a very attractive market. The reason, many who like Japanese food. Admittedly, Japanese food is made very simply but very tasty, that's the power of Japanese food.
From the information I got, this Sushi Genki serves very fresh sushi but the price is very affordable. Another thing that is attractive in Indonesia is Genki Sushi, which offers sushi with modern technology concepts. In fact, when I came, the waiter was no longer using the book or menu list. We just have to choose the menu from the barcore that the waiter gives to the customer.
In some other Sushi genki restaurant branches, they use tablets to order food and drinks. Then the food is served on the Shinkansen train at Kousoku Lane. Kousoku Lane is a line from the Shinkansen train that sits at the side of the customer's desk. In Indonesia, these restaurants are connected in large malls and in shopping centers. By being placed in a shopping center, it is a strategy to increase customers.
For sushi at this place, served with various toppings. From fish to eggs. I want to try the sushi here. Sushi is one of the most popular traditional Japanese foods. You can't choose much.
That's my story about the place to eat that I visited. I hope you enjoy the story I wrote. If you are interested in the food here, you can visit this restaurant in your country. Oh yeah, I want to ask, what Japanese food do you like? You can write it in the comments column.
