Beans are a very healthy and nutritious dish, they are easy to prepare, regardless of the variety in question, beans when cooked have a fine buttery texture and a pleasant taste.
BEANS AS A HEALTHY FOOD:
In addition to being nutritious, beans are also very healthy, they are a rich source of protein, contain little fat and do not contain saturated fats and cholesterol.
Because it is very rich in vitamins and minerals, due to nutrients that promote health, consuming beans can improve health and reduce the risk of certain diseases.
Healthy food is always welcome on my table, I decided to share with you on this occasion my recipe, which was once prepared by my grandmother, later mom and today I like to cook it, I love when it is cooked because of the creamy thick soup and dried meat gives it a richer taste. And besides, it is very easy to prepare.
INGREDIENTS:
- 300 g beans
- 1 larger onion
- 1 larger carrot
- 1 primrose root
- dried meat as desired (I used a little ham and bacon)
- 2 to 3 bay leaves
- spoon of vegeta (dry products are salty should not salt, but to taste)
PREPARATION:
Beans are difficult to digest, but in order to prevent that, before the preparation, soak the beans in cold water in the evening, before the preparation, throw water and rinse the beans under a stream of cold water and start preparing it.
Cut the dried meat into the desired pieces, wash it under a stream of cold water and put it in an espresso pot.
then add beans to it, cut the onion into small cubes.
add the beans, onion, carrot and parsley root into rings and put everything together in an espresso pot.
Then pour water, cover the espresso pot and put it on the fire to cook gently.
When the meat is soft and the beans add the bay leaf.
WE NEED MORE:
- 3.4 tablespoons of oil
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 teaspoon ground red sweet pepper
PREPARATION:
In a small pan, add oil and flour, which we will let get a golden color while stirring.
When the flour becomes slightly golden in color, add a teaspoon of red sweet pepper and mix well.
Add the beans prepared in this way and mix it well, let it boil for another ten minutes, the beans will get a thicker texture and will have a rich taste.
The beans are ready and you can serve them with a salad of your choice.
My choice of salad is fresh tomatoes from the garden with the addition of spring onions.
