dear pie lovers, I often like to make cheese pies, pies are made in various ways, Layers of crust and filling can be arranged flat, or more often as crumpled crusts soaked in stuffing with flat crust at the bottom and top. This time I made a pie with crusts that I crumpled and dipped in the filling, then arranged them.
In both savory and sweet dishes, cheese and dough are a good combination - whether it's a sandwich or a gastronomic endeavor like a cheesecake. But cheese can also be an ingredient in dough that gives it a great texture.
INGREDIENTS:
- one pack of thin crusts
- 500 grams of cheese
-2 eggs - half a cup of oil
- one baking powder
- 400 ml of milk
- a teaspoon of salt (if the cheese is not salty enough)
PREPARATION:
In a large bowl, beat with an egg whisk, then add the cheese and mix everything well.
When you have mixed well, a lump of cheese can remain, add the other ingredients, if the cheese is not salty enough, add a little salt, then oil, baking powder and finally milk, mix well to combine all the ingredients.
Coat the pan in which we planned to bake the pie with a little oil. We separate four crusts from the crust, we will put two on the bottom of the pan, the other two on the side.
Then we will dip each crust in the filling that we prepared beforehand, and arrange it in a baking tray until we use up the crust and even the filling.
Bend the ends of the crust sticking out of the pan on the inside, and then cover the pie with the remaining two crusts that we left aside.
Once you have covered the pie with crust, you can coat it on top with the rest of the filling, if you don't have more filling, coat it with oil. turn the oven to 200 degrees to heat, when the oven is warm, insert the pie and reduce the temperature to 180 degrees, then bake the pie for about 30 to 40 minutes.
When the pie is nicely baked and got a golden color, it is ready to take it out of the oven, cover it with a clean kitchen cloth, so that it cools down a bit and the upper crust softens, then serve it.
You can serve the pie with yogurt, it will be a good dinner or breakfast, in any case the preparation is simple, and the taste of the pie is irreplaceable.
