Have you ever tried to do an experiments on foods?
Might some people will say yes or some will say no! But I did it today. An experiment with Maggie(instant noodles). Yes you heard it rightđ.
Today I made Instant noodles I.e Maggie in different style. Or you can say in my Desi Styleđ€. But guys You won't believe it turns out delicious and finger licking dish. My husband was licking his plate after finishing it. It sounds ewww but it true.đ
Always cooking in the same style was little bored to me. So I decided to give a little twist to the dish. Usually what we do if we make Maggie? We will boil it in water, sprinkle the Masala or herbs and its done! Right? Yeah!!
But I am sharing with you a simple but Desi version of Maggie.
So lets see how to make this-
SERVINGS For 2 persons
INGREDIENTS
1.Maggie- 2 small packet ( I have used top Ramen curry, you can have any instant noodles)
2.Maggie masala- 2(depends on the packets of Maggie's how many you have taken)
3.Oil-3 tablespoon
4.turmeric powder- œ teaspoon
5.Redchili powder-1 tablespoon
6.coriander powder-1 tablespoon
7.salt- as per taste.
8.finely chopped carrots đ„ - 1 cup
9.finely chopped potato đ„ - 1 cup
10.finely chopped onions đ°- 1 cup
11.finely chopped green chilies- đ¶3
12.finely chopped garlic clovesđ§- 7
13.finely chopped ginger- œ spoon
14.soya souce- 1 tablespoon
15.green chili sauce - 1 spoon
16.herbs- as per your taste.
METHOD
âFirstly chopped 3 green chilies, some garlic cloves, chopped tomatoes, carrots, and chopped onions. You can add veggies of your wish like French beans, capsicum, cauliflower and mushrooms. Today I was not having these veggies so I prepared what I had in my kitchen.
âThen take a large wok add oil and heat it.
Then add chopped green chilies and chopped onions. Saute it till translucent.
âThen add chopped garlic, ginger and saute it till raw aroma goes away. Then add your veggies.
âAdd chopped tomatoes đ
âThen add turmeric powder, salt, red chili powder, coriander powder and mix them well.
âAdd soya sauce and green chili sauce. Mix it well on high flame.
âThen add Maggie (instant noodles).
âAdd 1 cup water.
âThen add Maggie masala or herbs.
âMix it well. Cover and cook for 2 mins.
âyour delicious Maggie is ready to eat.
âtransfer it in a serving bowl and have it Hot. Let the Maggie be little slurry or soupy. It will taste more when you have it like this... đ
â you may add some Oregeno or Italian herbs(it's optional).
