I shared two starters with my mother - Haddock and Leek Fishcake with tartare sauce.
Sharing starter 2 was - Crispy halloumi fingers served with honey, lemon and herb mayonnaise.
For my main course, I had Beer Battered Fish and Chips.
The ambience at the Treehouse was really chilled and made you feel like you were outdoors.
I was inspired by thisismylife's recent blogging challenge on @liketu, 'The 30 Pictures 30 Stories Challenge'.
They were originally inspired by rubencress '30 day not-so ordinary ordinary items challenge' and I find both challenges a great way to encourage daily posting on hive.
This challenge is pretty open-ended; please feel free to follow my formula, or thisismylife's or rubencress' challenge structures listed in their posts linked above đŒ
The only stipulations are that you post one picture daily with a personal story for 30 days.
Write your story/anecdote to the best of your ability, and use the tag #30stories and/or the #notsoordinary tag if you're following rubencress' challenge. It is also advised to use the #challenge tag.
As I am a professional writer outside of hive blockchain and only dabble as an amateur photographer, I thought I'd follow thisismylife's challenge format to tell some stories and anecdotes about my strange life.
If youâre looking for an excellent place to eat in Crosby after your trip to the beach, look no further than the Treehouse Bistro in Crosby. The atmosphere at Treehouse is cosy with stunning dĂ©cor, featuring beautiful wooden accents, a well-constructed tree sculpture and soft lighting that create a warm atmosphere.
Specialising in a wide variety of seafood options, the food the Treehouse offers is fantastic. Along with fresh seafood, there are steaks, and a whole vegetarian section listed on the Ă la carte menu.
Dishes are presented with care and attention to detail. As seen in the pictures, the Treehouse doesnât get it wrong on the âeating with your eyesâ stakes.
I do think that they could have been a little more generous with their portion sizes. If you look at the picture of the Fish and Chips option I had for my main, although the Chips were chunky and cooked to perfection, they were under the battered Haddock simply to disguise the fact that there were about two-thirds of what I would have expected on a plate of fish and chips, but with each minus comes a plus and the tartar sauce was absolutely delicious.
Described as âLocal cuisine, European, British, Vegetarian Friendly, Vegan Optionsâ I think the Treehouse pretty much sums it up nicely. I have one criticism; their lunch menu special (ÂŁ18 starter and main) definitely wouldnât have satisfied Vegetarians or Vegans in the choices on offer.
The Ă la carte menu only costs ÂŁ1-ÂŁ2 more for a starter and main of your choice, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices, so my above criticism is a small one.
If youâre around the Crosby area of Liverpool, especially after viewing the public art installation while taking a walk on the beach, the Treehouse is a great option for modern British food at a very reasonable price.
