Fried rice with fried chicken and a side of vegetables is kind of a very popular 'fast food' lunch platter in Bangladesh. You will get to see this menu in almost all the small cafes and restaurants, as well as in the street food stalls.
I wouldn't say this is anything near my favorite list. But if you are hungry, and trying to find a decent place to have food; this is the best option.
A few days ago I went to the 'Tokyo Square' mall to have lunch. Don't get confused by the name, it's in Bangladesh. lol.
There's a huge residential building just beside it named 'Japan Garden city' and probably that's why they name this mall like that.
The name of this restaurant is 'Cafe Express'. What I didn't like is, this place is kind of a monopoly business. There's no other place so the food price is a bit high. Also, I didn't like the quality and taste of the food.
The rice was soggy, not near to fried rice. And the vegetable was tasteless. I would give the chicken fry a high point compared to it.
It was almost afternoon so the mall was nearly empty. I didn't have time to explore the mall and browse some stuff. But seems like it's a nice place for shopping.
Later, I enjoyed a coffee while watching the cold foggy weather from the window.
It was not a cool experience but I had my lunch on time. Though the price should be a little less and the quality could be better compared to everything. But what can I say, it was a one time experience.
I'm busy with home organizing as I shifted to a new place. Hopefully will get back to you soon.
Have a great day, everyone.
