Introduction
Hey everybody, it's been a while since I've done a blog about food. I've been totally busy with other blogs and finally found a day where I can write this post. Fei Fan Hotpot is a hotpot that has a few branches in Malaysia! I went there with my friends and their friends. For those that don't know, hotpot restaurants usually let you choose between some choices for soups and basically you cook vegetables, meat, etc in their soups!
It was one of my friend's birthday so I guess you could say it's a special occasion since I don't normally go out and eat a lot. My friend that had the birthday thought he would get a birthday discount but I guess the deal didn't apply since it was too many days in advance so I actually ended up treating him to his share of the dinner. Without further ado let's discuss about the restaurant and the food!
Restaurant Ambience & Service
I found the restaurant to be very clean and the service to be excellent. The restaurant was well decorated and the seats, tables, plates and everything I felt were up to standard; the tables were also well spaced out from another. They even had an option to eat outdoors. I didn't have much photos of the interior or exterior because I'm kind of shy taking photos of all the place 😂 and didn't want to get in trouble if someone thought I was trying to take a photo of them or something.
The Food!
I know this is whet you all have been waiting for. The amazing mouthwatering food pics 😝. You were able to pick from 6 different types of soup as show in one of the pictures below. We decided to go with Herbal Soup and Pork Bone Soup. You can basically take the vegetables , create your sauce, ice cream and some other things by yourself. The waiter/waitress would bring in the rectangular containers with the meat. They had many different varieties of meat such as pork collar, pork belly, beef, chicken, beef balls and many more. The ice cream had only vanilla, chocolate or a mix of both. They you can add some sprinkles and two other things which I don't remember.
My Concluding Thoughts
I found this restaurant to be nice and I definitely would come back again with friends or family for a special occasion. It's quite pricy at around RM60 per person which is almost $14 USD per person. The service was great as mentioned before. I enjoyed the food and I recommend the herbal soup if you are in Malaysia and decide to try this restaurant. I also really liked the beef ball here; it was super yummy. I feel like I ate my money's worth as I ate a lot of meat until I was almost full. I ended up finishing my dinner with two cups of ice cream. The ice cream tasted great too but I guess you really can't go wrong with ice cream. Anyways it was a nice dinner and I hope you enjoyed my photos and thoughts. Until next time. Thank you so much for reading!
