Hello Dear friends ...
How are you feeling today ? I hope you are healthy and happy.
Last weekend I met my best friend since high school. We haven't seen each other for a long time, the last time when it was my birthday they came to my house to surprise me. After that we didn't meet again until yesterday we finally made an appointment and met again. Meeting friends is a very pleasant moment.
We met for lunch at one of the cafes that I've also mentioned in my previous blog, please read it too. After lunch we decided to move cafe, because we wanted to eat dessert. It so happened that one of my best friends had a birthday last July, and we haven't had the chance to celebrate it yet, so me and another friend of mine are planning to celebrate it now.
And now we choose a cafe that is quite famous in our city and is relatively new, because this cafe just opened in early 2021. The name of the place is KiniKitchen.
Outdoor and indoor minimalist tropical concept. Entering the place we are greeted with a garden containing various cacti and other flowers. Because the weather was quite hot we chose to sit inside.
For the food and beverage menu, there are various kinds, ranging from heavy meals to snacks and deserts as well as for drinks, starting from tea, coffee, or typical drinks of this cafe.
We ordered "KiniBrownies" as a birthday cake to celebrate my best friend's birthday earlier. And also my other friend ordered chicken poppop because she was hungry again.
"KiniBrownies" are actually brownies served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, then drizzled with chocolate sauce and garnished with some strawberries.
Meanwhile, chicken poppop served with chicken fillet and tar-tar sauce.
My best friend didn't think that we were still celebrating her birthday because a few months had passed and she was happy that we were celebrating. We spent the afternoon sharing stories and laughing together. Gathering with friends is a fun time and makes time feel very short. When it was getting late we decided to go home.
"A friend is one that knows you as you are, understands where you have been, accepts what you have become, and still, gently allows you to grow." - William Shakespeare
