Sweet Potato is an extremely popular fruit loved by people of all age groups. It’s a popular dish for fasting as well. The sweetness of the shakarkandi pairs very well with the slight pungency of the black pepper powder and the tang coming from the lemon juice. So let’s see how we can make aloo chat at home.

Ingredients
• 2 Medium Sized Sweet Potatoes
• 1 Radish
• 4-5 TBSP Saunth (Gur and Tamarind Chutney)
• 4-5 TBSP Mint Chutney
• ½ TBSP Red Chilli Powder
• ½ TBSP black pepper Powder
• ½ TBSP Chaat Masala
• Salt as per taste
• 2 TBSP lemon juice
Step 1: Boil the sweet potatoes with minimum water (just covering the base of the pressure cooker).
Step 2: Once out of the pressure cooker, place the sweet potatoes on direct gas flame and cook them for another 5-7 minutes. Cook on all sides evenly. Once they cool down, peel them and cut them into small pieces.
Step 3: Take the potatoes in a bowl. Add the mint and tamarind chutney, all spices and give it a good mix.
Step 4: Garnish with grated radish and radish leaves.
Step 5: Add 2 TBSP lemon juice and give it a good mix.
Step 6: Serve hot with a cool drink!
