How are you, I hope everyone is fine. We all have hopes in our lives. These are the hopes we will live for tomorrow.Today I had leftover rice for lunch. I thought I should make something out of this.So I made rice pudding. Very tasty. Like and see how it was made.
Ingredients;
- The remaining two cups of red rice
- Two and half cups of coconut milk
- Four tablespoons of oil
- One teaspoon of vanila
- The average size of roasted is 50 grams of crushed peanuts
- One cup of water
- 300 g of sugar
- Crushed cardamom pods 4
The methof malikng;
Put the remaining rice in a blender and add coconut milk little by little to it and blend well.
As long as it is well blended, the taste of the Dodol.Blend well so that there are no pieces of rice.
Put a separate pan on the stove, add 50 grams of sugar and caramelize well.
Once that sugar is well caramelized add the 300 grams of sugar we previously reserved.Add a cup of water and add the previously blended rice milk mixture.
Mix everything well. After about 5 minutes while stirring, add the roasted cardamom.
Add the chopped roasted peanuts. Add a teaspoon of vanilla.
Spoon the mixture continuously and add one tablespoon of oil as it thickens.
After about half an hour the mixture is well seasoned.Turn off the stove and add the mixture to a pre-oiled pan.Thinly slice well and let dry.
I added some roasted peanuts.Once well browned, cut into square-shaped pieces.
Dodol is a local delicacy. These dishes are definitely made for special occasions and local festivals in our country. This is a dessert that everyone, big and small, loves sweets.
