Ein Aufruf an die #Deutsch Community - Recovery Account steem ist keine gute Wahl und sollte geändert werden.

Mit dem lieben Hive account@jedigeiss habe ich gestern ein kleines Script entwickelt, das unsere Deutsch D-A-CH Community einmal scannt und entsprechende Informationen ausgibt. Hierbei geht es leider immer noch um das Thema Recovery Account. Durch unsere Analyse haben wir festgestellt, das mind. 44% der User in unser deutschsprachigen Community das Konto Hive account@steem als Recovery eingetragen haben.

Ein Aufruf an die 347 Accounts die Steem als Recovery gesetzt haben

Bitte nehmt euch 5 Minuten Zeit und ändert euren Account Recovery Account auf jemanden, dem ihr vertraut. Justin Sun von der Steem Blockchain wird euch im Falle, das ihr eine Account Recovery benötigt, hier auf der Hive Blockchain nicht helfen. Und damit ihr in diesem Falle nicht leer da steht - solltet ihr echt mal überlegen, das zu ändern.

Den Recovery Account ändern

Das ist mit ein paar Klicks erledigt. Der liebe Hive account@arcange hat hierfür ein schönes Tool entwickelt, welches ihr unter der folgenden URL findet: https://tools.hivechain.app/recovery/

Eine Anleitung zu dem Tool folgt in Deutsch, gibt es aber hier in English: @hive.recovery/userguide

1. Deinen Hive Usernamen eintragen
2. Rechts auf das Männchen klicken und deine Eingabe bestätigen
3. In der Zeile drunter wird dein derzeitige Recovery Account angezeigt. In meinem Fall Hive account@twinner - Sollte hier Hive account@steem stehen, solltest du nun handeln ;)
4. Klick auf den Button "Change Recovery Account"

1. Gib hier deinen Master-Schlüssel ein. Das ist z.b. einer Punkte, wo dein Masterkey benötigt wird und sollte nur für Account Recovery Geschichten rausgekramt werden. ;)
2. Alternativ gibst du hier deine E-Mail Adresse ein. Würde ich auch machen, damit derjenige, den du als Recovery setzt, im Nachgang sichergehen kann, das das Konto wirklich dir gehört. (Double-Check)
3. Hier setzt du dir eine gut zu merkende Passphrase. Dies kann ein Satz wie z.B. ich will mein konto nicht verlieren oder z.B. etwas von https://www.useapassphrase.com/ freebie pusher snoring undress clothing
4. Hiermit bestätigst du, das du wirklich sicher bist, das du deine Passphrase sicher verwahrt hast. Das ist kein Scherz, wirklich sicher verstaun ;)
5. Absenden, kurz warten und dein Recovery Account wurde geändert.

Alternative - Recovery auf PeakD ändern

Gehe dazu auf dein eigenes Profil. Dort findest du oben in der Leiste den Button "Actions" - Klick da drauf und geh in die Rubrik "Keys & Permissions"

Von dort aus, gehst du auf den letzten Reiter hinten, der den Namen "Recovery Account" hat.

Lese dir die Seite gut durch und verstehe, was es mit dem Recovery Account auf sich hat.

Verstehen der Wiederherstellung

Wenn dein Kontoschlüssel gestohlen und von einer anderen Person verwendet wurde, versuche zunächst, deinen eigenen OWNER Schlüssel zu verwenden, um deine Schlüssel zu ändern. Der Dieb könnte jedoch die Schlüssel selbst ändern (wenn der OWNER-Schlüssel oder das MASTER-Passwort gestohlen wurde) und dich aussperren. Wenn dies passiert, muss das Konto wiederhergestellt werden.

Ein Wiederherstellungskonto sollte sein:

• jemand, den du persönlich kennst und dem du vertraust, um zu bestätigen, dass dein Konto kompromittiert wurde und
• er kann bestätigen, dass du das Konto "wiederherstellen" willst und
• es unwahrscheinlich ist, dass er zur gleichen Zeit ebenfalls kompromittiert wurde.

TIPPS Obwohl es hilfreich wäre, jemanden zu wählen, der technisch versiert ist, ist es wichtiger, jemanden zu wählen, den du kennst und mit dem du außerhalb von Hive in Kontakt treten kannst, jemanden, der sich nicht von dem Dieb täuschen lässt, der möglicherweise den gesamten Computer kompromittiert hat

WICHTIG Die Wiederherstellungsmethode ist NICHT für verlorene Schlüssel/Passwörter geeignet. Du benötigst immer noch Deinen originalen OWNER-Schlüssel, um den Wiederherstellungsprozess durchzuführen. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit, auf ein Konto ohne einen gültigen Schlüssel zuzugreifen/wiederherzustellen.

Soviel erstmal zu den technischen Details, wie man seinen Recovery Account ändert. Wie ihr seht, ist das Thema schon ein wichtiges. Und darum möchte ich die folgenden User einmal darauf hinweisen, ihren Recovery Account zu prüfen, ob dieser noch aktuell ist. Besonders möchte ich den 44% der gesamten unten stehenden Liste darauf aufmerksam machen, das ihr Hive account@steem als Recovery Account entfernt und durch eine vertrauenswürdige Person ersetzt!!! Im Falle des Falles wird euch Justin Sun von Hive account@steem euch fallen lassen, wie eine heiße Kartoffel.
