What's UP everyone! I hope you are all well and enjoying the moment! Its been an abundant week for many of you who have posted to the ecoTrain community, with many posts receiving $10-25 up-votes from our supporters.. and especially with the support of OCDB and their community support initiative. If you didn't know, OCDB are now partnering with several communities on Hive to help to decentralise our communities and reward posts in niche communities that don’t have many up-votes or support. This is a very special initiative and shows how Hive and the decentralised model is so very different to centralised capitalism. A normal capitalist attitude would consider having one popular community, and holding a huge amount of VP to be a great success.. but on Hive it is not what we want, and it is VERY good to see our witnesses such as
doing what they can to keep things decentralised. Click here for more info.
So to all of you who are either new to Hive, or post good content that is rarely noticed or rewarded.. now is a GREAT time to post to the ecoTrain community and start getting the kind of rewards your posts deserve.
This week I would like to share a few posts that have received our combined support, and touch on some of the subjects that ecoTrain support. These topics include:
"Sustainability, ecoVillages, Community, Self-sufficiency, Off-grid Living, Homesteading, Permaculture, Alternative Energy, Alternative Lifestyle, Natural Health, Cooking, Eco-Building, Earthships, Recycling, Esoteric, Inner Transformation, Spiritual, Nature"
It's so good to see so many posts that normally receive relatively few up-votes with up to $25!.. I’m very happy to be able to direct some of the Hive abundance to you all! We live in VERY special times, and the topics that we support are more important to share than ever. No one knows what the next year or two will bring to the world, and right now is our chance to steer things in a new and much more healthy direction. This all starts with awareness, and sharing our knowledge and experiences.. so I hope you check out some of these posts and drop a comment if you like them.

As India Celebrates Sawan Purnima & Rakshabandhan.

Purnima or call it FullMoon Day, has always a special significance on Hinduism. However the Sawan Purnima got some more special attention on account of being associated with God Shiva.
One of the most auspicious days in the Hindu calendar, Sawan Purnima, is being observed by devotees of Lord Shiva today. This year Sawan Purnima assumes more significance as it coincides with Sawan Somwar - a day dedicated to Shiva. And additionally, it today also mark the day for brother & sisters.
So on this day due to Pandemic, we were restricted to go out for any special worship, so made a makeshift arrangement at home.

Hi everyone,
I said to my #introduceyourself blog I will share in my next blog here in hive the life I have in our province. I am wish you will support me here and for my future blogs.
All lives of the people around the world changed because of pandemic happening all over. Same with me, my life changed. From being a maintenance staff in one of the public school in our town, I become jobless. To make my family survive in our daily lives, I am finding ways how to feed my family. I am catching fish in the river near us for a dish to serve in our table. Sometimes I have catched fish enough for my family's food. Sometimes not enough for one meal of my family. Weather weather lang ika nga ni Kuya Kim. I will share in my other blogs the catches fish I have.

Making and Sharing For A Better World

Hi Ecotrain community!
Todays post is all about helping each other out and sharing just because we are all connected. All the same family. These two bees met up in my kitchen and immediately started cleaning each other. It was beautiful to watch, they spent 4 or 5 minutes grooming each others heads and bodies.
Now we aren't bees and I don't expect you to stop someone you pass in the street to clean them in any way but look out around you in your neighbourhood for who might be needing help in some way or even help that you can mutually benefit from.
Our journey into the night

Humans are such complicated beings that when there are no points to a good discussion, we argue with ourselves about topics that reveal us internally and tone down our lights and shadows. Therefore, it is difficult to define the line that separates a judgment from an observation because they are intermingled and will appear to be what emerges in the optics of the receiver.
Many times, we want to express our point of view with no more encouragement than to make a simple comment, about a simple situation and a bomb of negative emotions explodes more because of misinterpretations than because of bad intentions. And we are astonished by the destructive power that some badly combined words generate at a time when our dictionary did not succeed in emitting the right meaning to a feeling.

The most powerful relationships available to us all
Friendship and allies who are there to assist you in times of trouble, may well be the unrecognised gift for anyone on the way. Actually there are five primary positive relationships to be shared among us, according to the ancient Vedic literature of India. They are as follows:
Neutrality
Servitude
Parental
Friendship
Love
Neutrality alludes to the relationship you may have with an inanimate object of any sort. There is little more one can do to deepen our relationship with our objects which surround us, but the relationship still exists, and is usually purely functional. There is no reciprocation from the objects in any conscious way, as much as we may like to anthropomorphise them. Even the Moon appears close tonight but I will never have any more than a functional relationship with it. Sometimes we like to give our car a name but the car will never come when you call it. It is neutral.
Thank you To ALL who have posted this week! To all of you who are interested in posting about and promoting all aspects of sustainable building and living, there has never been a better time to post to our communty. We deliberately and consciously curate those posts, blogs & vlogs which speak to the issues, challenges and needs of community living and the emerging Hive ecoVillage communities around the world. Here are some of the topics we support and curate on: "Sustainability, ecoVillages, Community, Self-sufficiency, Off-grid Living, Homesteading, Permaculture, Alternative Energy, Alternative Lifestyle, Natural Health, Cooking, Eco-Building, Earthships, Recycling, Esoteric, Inner Transformation, Spiritual, Nature"

Don't miss our latest QOTW
ecoTrain Question Of The Week #14: What is the biggest question or mystery in your life that until now you haven't had the answer to?

Wouldn't it be wonderful if when we die we can find out the answers to ALL those big and small questions and niggles that we never found out about during our lives. It could be something totally trivial, but something that you never found the truth out about, or it could be a major event or happening that changed our world.. corona virus would be a good example, as would many other conspiracy theories. There is of course the ultimate question, who am i, what is god, and many other esoteric ponderings that have occupied the minds of some of the greatest thinkers in our history. Maybe you made a huge life changing decision, or maybe you didn't, and you will never know how things would have turned out if you have made a different choice!
So this week let us see what has perplexed you in this life! Looking back at my life, i can think of quite a few seemingly trivial things that i have never learned the answer to, and I know I most likely never will. Its quite funny to me how its actually those small simple little things that can really effect me much more than the very big things. SO please do feel free to share even the most silly sounding thing that you really wish you knew the answer to!
Did you know....
August is "Simple Vegan Cooking On A Budget Month!" Big up-votes from ecoTrain and OCDB for your posts!

This August ecoTrain is promoting healthy vegan cooking! Even those of us who do eat well most of the time can always use a bit of inspiration and new ideas. In these times of lockdown and many people struggling to earn money to survive it is important to look after our health in many ways...and our diet is probably one of the easiest and best ways to keep our physical and mental / emotional health in check. So for the month of August ecoTrain is inviting you to share a healthy recipe with us that you personally love and can make at home.
