Howdy hivers! How are you all doing? Hope we're all safe and good.. today, i'll be sharing a very simple vegan dish that everybody will love and everybody can cook. And this is also an entry to @ecotrain's simple vegan cooking
We call this type of cooking "bulanglang" . With bulanglang.. you just need to like steam the veggies or any food that you wanted to cook with this process. But usually we do it with vegetables..
Here are the ingredients
-Corn (grated)
-Malunggay leaves
-Garlic
-magic sarap (seasoning)
-salt to taste
The corns were bought from a seller roaming around the place .. they are youth so aside from we have food .. it's good in the feeling that we had help them. One plastic with 5 pieces corn is worth Php50 or $1 .. so we bought 2 plastics of it. But i only cooked one plastic.
The malunggay leaves are totally free from our backyard. I always get malunggay everyday for i want to mox it with any soup my kids are eating. Plus it helps in my breastmilk production..
The Process
It's very simple to cook..
1)first i prepared the ingredients.. grated the corn ..shredded the malunggay.a
2)After that i boiled water with garlic and salt .
3)once boiling i put in the corn.. let it simmer for 7 to 10 minutes.d
4)Add in the malunggay leaves , the magic sarap and the salt.. simmer for another 3 minutes.
5)And all ready to be eaten..
The finished product
To describe the taste , you are gonna enjoy the flavory smell of the corn blended with the tasty magicsarap and salt and of course that healthy juice of the malunggay leaves.. all in all.. it's a very simple vegan dish that's definitely very affordable and nutritious .. you'll gonna love this for sure.
