When I read 's post this week about Hive Christmas Balls, it brought back so many wonderful memories -- she provided me so much inspiration as a fractal artist to make beautiful gifts for several dynamic "ladies of hive" and fellow artists by providing a blank ball and a contest -- but the contest bit was not even as important! Hive Christmas Balls are such a wonderful way to "flood this beauty through the Hivesfere" as she said, and although there's no contest this year, I thought I would put out the collection I forgot to put together last year and also recognize the people AGAIN that I gave each one to!

This was the very first Hive Ball I made, and I gave this to herself -- here's looking at you, the person who inspired all of this beauty on Hive!
I made this ball and gave it to my good friend and fellow fractal artist -- we have done so much good art and Hive work overall together -- even when you read the post, you STILL will not fully understand how wonderful the woman who actualy got me into Ladies of Hive in the first place is! Here's looking at you, friend!

This one I made for , the captain of Hive's very own
-- back in the day, she made ONE DECISION that led to me having a WHOLE novel! Even though my schedule just will NOT let me have time to get fully onboard at Dreemport, I recognize the work she has been doing to support writers and artists since then to make life better for EVERYONE around her. Here's looking at you, Captain -- ALWAYS, bon voyage in the dreemy seas of possibility!

This I made and gave to , founder of the Freewriters Community ... do you KNOW how much dedication it takes to do the SAME THING, every day for FIVE YEARS? She makes sure that no matter your writing ability, if you have just FIVE MINUTES you can write to a daily prompt ... and we are to prompt 1,893. Talk about DEDICATION -- here's looking at you, the community builder primarily responsible for the writer I am today!

This ball I made for , my fellow Guardian of Earth Healing Knowledge -- we have collaborated on a BUNCH of stories that focus on natural ways of caring for the earth and each other, with a big element of fantasy and fun thrown in. Here's looking at you, friend!
This was made for our friends at , who keep on adding functionality for us to use -- since last year, we now have SHARED DRAFTS, and so collaboration is even easier than it was last year! I still have my life set up so that I can get away from the computer because of the scheduling, and I FINALLY got the hang of collections, of which this is one! Thanks again,
-- here's looking at you and using the functionality here to do it!
This ball I made for my friend , a wonderful woman who makes it possible for people to EAT in her locale through her work with her husband in the wilds of Florida ... she then comes back to Hive and the Freewriters Community and does something no one else there is doing ... she works
's daily prompt into her NON-FICTION accounts of #lifehappening, a tag which suits her well -- she KEEPS GOING, always. Also,
did a nice update on this ball in the comments of that post so that #lifehappening and all of you using that tag are properly recognized! But, back to
-- here's looking at you, friend!
The first of these two balls were made to invite the good folks from the Alien Art Hive community to come get involved in last year's contest, and also given to , our Alien Overlord, to recognize her for all the labor that she does for those of us whose art is, well, alien! She's also the reason Hive has NFT Showroom! The second ball was given to my friend
, another fractal artist in these parts with fine work -- but ALSO, getting around as a curator making sure that good work across a number of genres is seen and rewarded!
The very last Hive ball I made as a presentation to an artist much, much, much greater than myself. If you HAVE NOT SEEN what can do with a ballpoint pen (hence, the homage in BLUE), you need to do that. I wanted to invite him to get involved because, frankly, it does not matter what the art situation is -- hand that man a ballpoint pen and get ready to be AMAZED. In a year's time, he has done even MORE amazing work, and added a BUNCH of amazing digital art! Also, like
,
, and I, he is among Hive's most DEDICATED content creators. Here is looking at you, friend!
I thought I would spread the love and good feelings around AGAIN since reminded me of the good time had by ALL because of her Hive Balls project -- whatever you are celebrating, ENJOY IT, and also, have a Happy New Year!
