Introduction
Hi! 
This is Exploring the Chaos where I take a look on Chaos Legion cards including their subsets such as Riftwatchers and the Reward cards, as they brought new abilities and strategies that changes how the game was played.
The topic of my review for some time now was about the core cards of the Chaos Legion which is the third major card expansion of the game with over 100 cards and so far, I have come to finish with the core cards under the common and rare rarity and have begin with the epic rarity containing 17 cards. The first element that I cover was the Fire Element, followed by Water, Life and for this week, I will be covering for the Earth.

Grund is a 10- mana epic monster with the Double Strike ability at level 1 which allows it to attack twice per turn.
Reaching level 4, it gains the Trample that allows it to attack again if it defeats the first target.
At max level, it gains the Cripple* ability that reduce the max health of of the target.

Hunter Jarx is a 6- mana epic card with the Snipe that targets the nearest non-melee monster that is not in the first position beginning at level 1.
When it reaches level 3, it gains True Strike which makes every attack made by this card to never miss.

Acid Shooter is an 2- mana epic range monster with the Scattershot ability at level 1 that randomizes the target of the attack for each turn.
As it reaches level 4, it gains the Cripple ability that reduce the max health of of the target.
Reaching max level, it gains the Poison ability which deals -2 damage to the target each turn.

Battle 1: Grund

This battle has the What Doesn't Kill You rule set where all monsters have the Enrage ability and gains additional 2 armor with Armored up though Range monsters cannot be used due to Broken Arrows rule set. Grund has been placed at the 1st position as my main tank which at the same time can attack twice per turn with the use of Double Strike ability which has allowed it to defeat the Runi on the front and because also has the Trample ability which allows it to attack Deeplurker which was next to it that also got a reduced health due to Cripple.
Battle 2: Acid Shooter

On this battle, there is only Briar Patch for the rule set that gives the Thorns ability on all monsters so the use of melee monsters would be disadvantageous while there is a very low the level of monsters that can be used on those with low mana. Here, I used Acid shooter which has then attacked Djinn Biljka which was supposed to be un- targetable because it has Camouflage but because of Scattershot, Acid Shooter was able to defeat it.
Battle 3: Hunter Jarx

 Reverse Speed | Monsters with the lowest Speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks. |
 Target Practice | All Range and  Magic attack Monsters have the Snipe ability. |
 Explosive Weaponry | All Monsters have the Blast ability. |
On this battle, we have Reverse Speed where slow monster gets to attack first with Target Practice that gives all monsters the Snipe ability partnered with Explosive Weaponry that gives blast ability on all monsters. Hunter Jarx does originally has Snipe ability so it does not benefitted on Target Practice but with Explosive Weaponry, it was able to deal damage on more than 1 target and since it has True Strike, all of its attacks are sure to hit regardless of the target.
Final Thoughts
With the Epic core Chaos Legion cards under the Earth element, we got ourselves the first giant or those cards with 10 or more mana in the form of Grund which is a decent tank that can attack twice per turn while the other 2 were both range monsters. Between this two, I think that it was Acid Shooter was the card that I often use more despite its ramdomnes in attack because at the same time, it can also inflict Poison on random targets. On the other hand, I got to use Hunter Jarx less because of its slow speed although it does not misses an attack.
