Introduction
Hi! here playing Splinterlands everyday!
This is Exploring the Chaos where I take a look on Chaos Legion cards including their subsets such as Riftwatchers and the Reward cards, as they brought new abilities and strategies that changes how the game was played.
For the past 5 weeks now, I've been making card reviews about the Core Rare cards of the Chaos Legion Set on how they are used in play and which of them are my favorite and has great utility when playing. So far, I was done with the Fire, Water, Death, Earth and Life Element and for this week, I'll be making a review for the Neutral Element.
Also in this post are the details on how to get a free weekly SPS delegation. You can read the details below.

Xenith Monk is a 4 mana neutral melee card which has the Heal ability at level 2 that allows it to restore its health.
When it reach level 6, it gets the Void ability that reduces the damage it gets from magic attacks.
As it reaches max level, it gains the Magic Reflect ability that will reflect magic attacks towards the attacker.

Aim True | Attacks always hit their target. |
This battle has the Little League rule set which limits the use of monsters and summoners to only those that cost 4 mana or less along with Briar patch that gives Thorn ability on all monsters and Aim True that makes attacks to never miss. I have played Xenith Monk for my tank cause even if it receives damage from Thorns when it attacks, it got the Heal ability to restore its damage and it could also be a pain for magic monsters since it got the Void and Magic Reflect ability that not only reduce the damage for magic but also reflected back the damage towards the attacker like what it did for the Doctor Blight that was not able to damage it but instead it received 2 Magic Reflect damage.
Meanwhile, we have Xenith Archer here that despite not having any abilities, can always provide low mana range monster that can be accessed on all the elements, dealing 2 range damage to the opponent.
Battle 2: Xenith Archer and Venari Spellsmith

Tis but Scratches | All monsters have the |
This time, we have the Keep Your Distance rule set so we cannot use Xenith Monk so instead, I have used Venari Spellsmith and Xenith Archer for this match as we use the life- dragon element this time. With the Amplify of Venari Spellsmith, the damage that magic monsters have received from Magic Reflect has doubled which is the case for Elven Mystic that deals 1 damage but 2 magic damage got reflected on it and causes for its defeat.
While Xenith Archer just continues to inflict damage to the opponent just like what it did for the first match and was able to defeat Tower Griffin.
Final Thoughts
This has concluded my review for the neutral monsters among the Chaos Legion. Compared to the other elements, it has way fewer cards available on this element but was compensated by the flexibility of it to be played with other elements. On this set, Xenith Monk has proven to be a really good card with its capability to restore its health and to counter magic attacks.
And that was it for this review, next week's review will focus on the Epic core cards of the Chaos Legion Set. See you on my next post.
