Probably the most important Norwegian music band, formed by unknown artists Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland in 1998 on the far north, in Tromso. Two experimental musicians with some basic musical skills from the Arctic Circle came to the world with their debut called Mellody A.M. in 2001, charming the global audience with one of the warmest possible sounds. Multi-awarded duo with 6 long play albums, known from their creative genre-blending approach, including ambient, house music and synth-pop through all those years have grown into legends. Personally I do not known anybody who have never heard timeless classic Poor Leno and instead of the obvious hit, I would like to entertain you with other great and very atmospheric track from the same, debut album. Leader and founder of Monolake mentioned few days ago in my <a href= DAY M blogpost. It is pointless to re-write everything again, so all curious people are encouraged to check that post. Worth to mention is that Robert Henke is performing right now his liveshow Lumière III, which was considered as one of the most exciting audiovisual shows in 2013. Lumière III is a concert performance exploring the artistic dialogue between high precision lasers and percussive sounds. Last year it has been undeniably called one of the most interesting point of UP TO DATE FESTIVAL, the best independent electronic festival in Poland.
