Yesterday I had a bit of a relapse in my soreness. That may be because I had pushed myself to do 150 the previous day. But it wasn't bad enough to prevent me from doing another 150!
This time I did more of a set of progressively smaller sets instead of the same size set all day. I don't know what you call this, but in my weightlifting days we called it "progressive overload" when every set you would do less weight.
Anyway, I used the same idea. I started with two sets of 35 in the morning. After lunch I did a set of 30 to bring me to 100. Then in the evening I did two sets of 25, bringing me to 150. Progressive overload is more effective when doing the sets back to back and not spaced out throughout the day, but ehh, oh well. For my purposes it worked!
Woohoo! Another 150 day!
But you know, even though the Squats to Fight Cancer fundraiser advises us to split the squats throughout the day, it feels like cheating to me. Today I feel good. Still slightly sore, but good. So I am going to attempt to do all 100 at once later today, just like I did on the first day. After that I may or may not do more, we'll see.
Anyway...
That brings me to 750 for the month!

I'm doing this 100 Squats per day Challenge with ,

Almost all of us will have to deal with cancer in our lifetimes: either we will get it or someone we love will get it. 1 in 8 women will eventually get breast cancer. An astonishing 1 in 3 men will eventually get prostate cancer. Many of us over the age of 30 grew up surrounded by second-hand smoke, making lung cancer a serious possibility. There are many other cancers with similar scary high rates. If you are able, please consider donating or spreading the word of this fundraiser.
