Yesterday I was running around all day. I did get home a few times, but every time I found myself in the zone, writing and not noticing the time as it flew by. Some people call that flow state. Flow state is a fantastic place to be for writers or anyone else, but it does have the side-effect that you get sidetracked and don't do somethings.
I had intended to do my squats early, before noon, but it was bedtime before I knew it and I hadn't even started on them! So I quickly did what is now becoming my standard 3 sets—50, 40, 30—taking me to 120 for the day.
Rushing through that was tough. My legs hurt and I was out of breath. But I did it and that's the important thing!
That brings me to 1,685 for the month!
