The science career is a career I have never explored much of before, just because it didn't seem much fun. And I knew aliens was possible to find in this game, and I knew this career must be the head key to it.
A sim could get abducted by looking in the telescope in the earlier the Sims games. But they only got abducted and sometimes (or usually) could get back pregnant with an alien baby.
This post will show you all about the science career.
- What happened when my sim called for aliens with the satellite dish?
- How many options did my sim all of sudden have when reaching the top job: Extraterrestrial Explorer?
- Is there a secret world?
- Are aliens good or bad?
How cool doesn't she look?
This eyewear is unlocked when your sim reached the top job in this career.
The different kind of devices your sim can make:
The SimRay is the first device you can make, you can make things transverse or freeze people. The SinRay can also control peoples mind or change their outfit when it's fully upgraded.
The Electroflux wormhole generator is one of the last things you can make, and it doesn't do the best and fun stuff before you have upgraded it as much as possible. Stay tuned for more info about it soon!
I want to focus on the Satellite Dish and The Electroflux wormhole generator:
The dish can control the Neighborhood Hivermind. You can make your town angry or happy, dance party, bladder epidemic and knockout. And by doing all these things, your sim also gets more famous.
But you can also prevent or call the aliens to abduct your sim.
I tried a few times to call for aliens, and it did work in the end.
They came to the neighborhood and all of sudden had a little party inside my sim's house. They was kind and didn't do any harm. Maybe this is how it is in real life too? Aliens that means no harm?
And because of that, the aliens was everywhere, like any other sim:
I also wanted to try to be abducted, and thaaaat actually worked right away.
There have been some abductions in The Sims 4 where the sim will come back pregnant. And I was really scared of it that was the case. But that often only happens to the mean people in town.
I really love how amazing this abduction is! You can see the dish and the light, and this is the best abduction I have ever seen in any sims game.
But there is more to the Science career.
This is one of the gaming packs were you can follow the sim to work.
The head key in the science career is this machine. This is where you invent the devices. You get the options and you get told when you have to upgrade it.
Your sim need different kinds of metals, crystals, fruit and flowers. to make different kinds of potions.
Your sim can ask the coworkers for this, but some of the items is really hard to find. The death flower is hard to find. I wrote more about the flowers in The Sims 4 gardening post. This is the Grim Reapers favorite flower, but in the science career your sim can make ghost goo where the Sims Reaper may appear after drinking it.
And I had to try out the ghost goo:
The grim reaper actually arrived as hoped for.
And the Grim Reaper got so angry that he just slapped my sim's face. My sim's coworkers just stood around and laughed.
I have planned a post about the Grim Reaper later. But II have to try some missions first. But this is a little preview:
You will in the end have a lot of crystals, diamonds etc.
And down below are some of them. Every diamond and crystal works their own way.
In the "get famous" gaming pack
you get a headpiece you can insert the crystals. The head piece isn't looking the best, and it looks really strange when my sim got all the clothes that follows with the top job in her career. It's really spaced! I have insert the fire opal in this.
Your sim also get more famous when wearing it.
And if you can't find any of the crystals and diamonds you want, you actually can just travel to the Realm of Magic World
One of my first post was about the gaming pack Realm of Magic, and I didn't take good enough photos of it. But I got the chance to do it now, and it actually have a point to it too. If you can't find enough crystals, your sim can travel to this world, to the market to buy some.
It's time to go deeper in the unknown world!
The Electroflux wormhole generator is the most fun and best item I have ever explored. When my sim reached the top level in her job, I could chose "Travel to Alien World"! The Sims 4 excites me so much, because there are so much details.
I thought I wouldn't be much surprised, but when I clicked on it, and the loading screen showed up. I knew I was traveling to a whole new world!!
And welcome to the unexpected and unknown Alien world:
I almost died when I entered this world. It is so pretty and amazing! I didn't know it ever existed. I have never seen this world in any game forums and I didn't know it was possible. I wanted to film it, because then you get a little better view of it all.
There is new flowers and diamonds in this world.
The diamonds are essential to this career too.
You can find alien pets.
It would be nice if you could interact with the animal pets. But sadly you can't.
And one day at work, my sim got a note that there is a party going on in Alien world!
"Didn't you know that we like to have parties for humans?"
Aliens are actually nice!
Let's gooooo:
How cool isn't this? I was so excited that this i possible! There was even a bar and a dancing area.
My sim had to try making an alien baby.
In the sim creator it is possible to make aliens (vampires, mermaid etc). And I knew it should be possible to get an alien baby too, if your sim are having some FUUUUN time with an alien.
And it wasn't hard at all. Here he is:
Thank you so much for reading! Hoping you guys are enjoying these posts!
Stay tuned for more the Sims posts. I have a lot of gaming- and expansion packs. I hope you like posts with more pictures than explanations. The science career do have many fun details to it.
The grim reaper also wanted to join in this post, but it was so much to it that I want to create his own post! I'm going to pic up things I earlier have written about him too so you guys can get a full Grim reaper review.
