It's easy to get comfortable in the warmth of our homes in Winter, embracing all the indoor creativity which comes with it, but as the seasons begin to turn and the colours of Spring and the sunshine days invite us back outdoors we remember how much better life is outside the artificial box known as home.
No matter how eco friendly or expensive our home may be, it's design is almost certainly illogical. It's grey water flows miles to sewage plants when it could just be used to water plants a few meters away. Its building materials are selected based on price and durability, without any thought towards how living in proximity with these things might affect humans. It's electrical wiring in the walls are unquestionably harmful to health and goodness knows how many other unwanted frequencies such as bluetooth and wifi will be blitzing you constantly. And did the architects dowse for geopathic stress lines before drawing out blueprints for the house? Unlikely, unless you live in a very old house. So when the excuse of "too cold" fades, one really must follow the natural path back to nature, away from all the human made artificiality.
It isn't about how rich we are. Or even about how rich we feel. We must simply go outside and do what we can with what we have. The rest will fall into place if our goals are clear. The hardest part is letting go of the what ifs and not fighting against that which is presented to us by the Universe as The Path. A path which leads us inevitably back to the special place where no money is required, no planning or even thought, only instinctive actions in tune with nature.
As a final thought, before i really get into this post, i want to mention how Law of Attraction seems to work better with construction projects. People throw stuff out all the time and one man's trash is another man's treasure! But the reality is that we simply don't see it till we are looking for it. So it's important to remain present and observant at all times in order for this game to work.
Have noticed the same can be said for plants because once i have identified a particular plant i am interested in for its medicinal or nutritional properties, the following year it will appear to grow everywhere in abundance, like never before. While the truth of the matter is that nothing has likely changed, except my awareness of a need for something.
Though i do still like to believe there is a little bit of magic here too, with my appreciation of the plant creating a Universal/physical response to it.
Spiral Garden Electroculture Chickens
We tried a year ago to look after a single chicken and she lasted only a few months before suddenly dying of a mystery illness. A local expert told us the other day how they should not eat worms every day, only as a weekly treat. So this could well be the reason for her death and we won't be letting future chickens play in the compost piles like before.
I imagined at the beginning of this project i may have to buy a few things but all the right pieces came together in the right moments and i have been reminded once more of how important it is to let go of our programmed reaction to the "i need to buy stuff" feeling. Money is a trap because we forget how simple it can be just to know what we want and mentally welcome its manifestation. It may take a few weeks but if you keep your eyes open and stay present you will find what you are looking for.
Firstly i started building the outer wall with reeds, freshly delivered from a neighbour who doesn't need them. Next to it i started building the chicken house with the old window shutters from our home.
The square tomato frame from last year was still standing so i used this as a base to work with.
The children helped at times, keen to play a role in the construction.
Luna treats the garden as her gym now.
This is because a few months ago i built a bamboo workout station.
Pull up bar for adults, pull up bar for children, parallel bars and awesome view for all.
This simple creation has really turned the garden into a playground for them. Even in the rain they love it!
The parallel bars alone can be used for so many things.
One just has to play.
Getting back to the construction now, Esteban & i built the table.
And the table quickly became a house.
A layer of mud went on the floor to seal holes and keep it cool in the summer.
Thanks to the shutters it even has a working door.
And lots of local cats to bless its existence.
Next i started working on the remainder of the enclosure.
The metal rod (for the door to swing on) came from a neighbour, the blue door came from an old friend (window shutter) and the metal grill at the top came from a beautiful soul who left his physical body this winter.
I would like you to see his face and know that his name was Jacques because he really was a special man.
Now he can watch over our chickens through this simple item which once belonged to him.
The reed, which alone isn't that solid is interwoven with hazelnut branches and some bamboo, making it much stronger.
Finally a net is added to the inside and the enclosure becomes a sealed unit.
The area round the back of their house is for playing. I will keep adjusting the arrangement of the sticks till they seem happy.
The roof of their house has been lined with mud to keep it cool and the inside lined with hay, along with four 'beds' and a perch if they want to be off the ground.
Plus the children's old baby mobile with a suspended fibonacci spiral. We will play the music every time we put the chickens to bed and eventually they will recognise it and come running into the house upon hearing it. Hopefully.
We will let them out of the enclosure when we are in the garden but must put them back when we leave. Not sure how easy this will be? We must because foxes come in the day when they are hungry.
Felt really good surveying my work from up here but there was something missing.
A super funky spiral electroculture antenna in their playground!
Plus a much taller one extending out of the top, this one with a magnetic pointer to boost the effect.
I measured the voltage coming into the soil at the base of the antenna today and it was reading 237mV.
Compare this to the voltage being created by the human body.
So this antenna produces the energy/electricity of 6.7 people standing barefoot on the earth. Forever. And that's just one aspect of what it is doing. Though perhaps the most measurable.
Chickens need electroculture too you see, just like any other living thing. So these antenna (along with a magnetised steel cable running north/south under their enclosure) will enhance their life force energy, giving us the kind of eggs you cannot buy in shops.
Wanted also to mention there is a stream which when connected runs through the middle of the enclosure and out to the rabbits at the back.
Plus a xylophone for entertainment and plenty of natural wildlife which survived the transition.
Next mission is my mini earthship home/greenhouse, directly in front of the chickens. Replacing the sunken greenhouse you can see here.
But overall am really happy with the way this project turned out. Fast and simple, through quite labour intensive. Will need to rest a few days now.
Number of local cats supervising this project with me: 6
Number of chickens coming soon: 4
Number of weeks to construct everything: 2
Number of euros spent: 0
Irish round tower replicas
Have seen images of monster sized vegetables grown in the proximity of basalt towers so am quite keen to replicate this effect in my own garden. Felt like now was the time because i finally found a decent French supplier of highly paramagnetic basalt, coming in at a whopping 9000 µCGS. What we are measuring here is the basalt's ability to attract and store electromagnetic energy, so this metric is a key one for optimal results.
I expected to be able to push the basalt/cement tower out of its PVC pipe mold if i applied enough oil but this was not the case so was forced to cut the pipe and remove it as best i could.
Still not bad for first attempt.
Future towers have worked better and i now have three of them, positioned like Orion star formation, right next to the chicken enclosure.
The idea to position them in this way was inspired by the original Irish Round Towers which were observed by Philip Callahan to mimic star formations. Specifically Draco's head in Northern Ireland, Clonmacnoise as Polaris, with Ursa Major, Cassiopeia and Camelopardalis matching tower clusters.
The towers have only been there a few days so nothing to say yet, but i feel sure the monster veg is coming soon!
What i can say is that the beans next to this cone (which has been there for around two months) are growing better than the beans further away.
I just shot a film looking closer at that statement and will release soon on The Sprial Garden video channels.
Wanted also to mention that i just started working on a mushroom cone design with three different coloured parts. These will look so cute around the garden and i feel sure they will be effective.
My cones are available to buy on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/shop/electroculturecones
A new age of orgonite pyramids
Keen to teach Esteban about electricity this winter i showed him how you can light up LEDs using two tensor rings and some batteries.
He asked me if we could put them inside an orgonite pyramid so i set about building a special one.
The iron powder in the middle is sitting upright like that because at one point there was a magnet under it. Just long enough to catch the formation in the curing resin and use as the centerpiece to this glowing creation.
The tensor rings were set one by one, separating the positive from the negative.
We wired it into a light switch, jazzed up with a blue LED.
I put little balls on the ends of the copper as feet to elevate the pyramid off the ground.
Just means you get more of a light show underneath.
Esteban obviously loves it and makes sure it goes on every night for at least 10mins.
And when it's time for sleep and the lights go out, the pyramid takes on another form thanks to glow-in-the-dark powder.
All in all a really fun project and educational too. For both of us.
Luna noted how i "always" make the good stuff for Esteban and i considered if it was true while watching them play.
Perhaps she is right i thought, so swiftly set about creating something even more powerful for her. It took a week with a total of six layers and it feels heavy in my hand. But most important of all it is unquestionably more powerful then Esteban's pyramid which is largely just empty space with lights.
Two tensor rings at the base.
And boy does it look cool when the lights go off!
Luna seems happy now and i am excited to continue the developments of both these pyramid ideas.
Just to see where it takes me.
Final thoughts
Have been feeling quite lively this Spring, as you can see.
Perhaps it's because i will be 50 years old next month?
Or perhaps it's because this year i planted my metaphorical seeds during the 12 Sacred Nights of Christmas?
Perhaps it's because of the vortex frequency water we've been drinking?
But it could also be thanks to Fina's amazing and unique BQH sessions?
Must also mention who is always in the background of my life with words of wisdom.
And whose personal journey consistently inspires and infuses into my own.
Lastly i must not forget my mother who is such a great support with her weekly video call.
In the absence of consistent physical friends here in France i do what i can with what i have and therefore value all the above greatly.
While my family's final destination will likely not be France (currently looking at Spain), the journey to create a functional eco paradise on a little patch of land here has been invaluable.
So much learned, so much gained.
But really we are just getting warmed up for the bigger projects in a land beyond this one...
Love & Light everyone 🌱
