How are you guys? I hope everything goes well. Today I came back with a delicious butter salt cake. Yesterday, a friend of mine came back from 'Myitkyina' to my small town. 'Myitkyina' is not from the state where I live. The city is located in Kachin State. That evening I handed her some oranges. She gave me back a box of cake I bought from Myitkyina. The cake she gave me was a butter salt cake. Butter salt cake is a local snack of Myitkyina town. I've heard of butter salt cake before, but I have never eaten it. When I got this cake box, it was a butter salt cake, so I thought it would definitely taste sweet and salty.
The brand that makes this butter salt cake is gold rose in English. The color of the box is pink and shows a cake shape on top of the box. At the back of the box is show a list of ingredients, how to store it. Butter salt cake contains wheat, sugar, oil, salt, sesame and butter. The expiration date is only 50 days. The outside of the box is tightly packed with plastic.
First, I removed the plastic bag and opened it. I found six butter salt cakes in the box. The butter salt cake is packed in another plastic bag. I didn't handle it well when I brought it, so I thought some butter salt cake was ruined. Now I see that the cakes are not spoiled.
The butter salt cake looks exactly like the one on the box. The butter salt cake is white and oval in shape. I also saw sesame seeds on top of the butter salt cake. When I opened the plastic bag, I got the smell of butter and wheat. I really like that smell. This cake is crispy and I really like the taste. I used to think this cake would be too salty because it was a butter salt cake. In fact, the taste is a little sweet. And in some parts of the cake, it tastes a little salty. But it is also very good to eat. The taste of this cake is a bit like the outside of Chinese mooncake.🍇
