π―π΅ Japan is a wonderful place and if you're a food lover it's nothing short of amazing for your taste buds.
Maguro Koya is a small restaurant tucked away in a quiet street. The venue is nothing extravagant but looking past this, a hidden gem awaits Tuna lovers from all over.
π Venue: Small and Cosy. Perhaps a little on the worn side for some but was perfectly fine for a meal with company. Hygiene standards seemed fine to me.
π Service: The restaurant owner was working alone on this evening and was very welcoming. He took our order and prepared everything quickly and made sure we well looked after. As the only diners of the evening, we were lucky. I wonder how busy it gets on other nights.
π Food: If you love Tuna, this is the place to go. it's an all Tuna menu, fresh and skilfully prepared Tuna dishes of reasonable portions. The blue fin fatty tuna melts in your mouth and some of the cooked dishes are worth trying too.
π° Value: Great value for quality food.
Maguro Koya isnβt the most pleasant venues but it surely makes up in quality and Iβd say the experience to eat and interact with the local restaurant owner is worth the trip alone.
