My recent visit to a new boba tea shop in Chiang Mai, called Tea of Us. As a self-proclaimed foodie, I have always been a fan of boba tea, but lately, my interest has waned. This time was an exception.
When I arrived at Tea of Us, I was immediately struck by the stunning interior design. It was young, fresh, and full of passion. The designer, was the same one who's designing our shop. She clearly knew what she was doing. The space was filled with earthy tones and the color of Thai tea, which set the tone for the entire experience. I have never seen any other boba tea like it!
The name of the place, Tea of Us, is a clever wordplay that instantly appealed to me. It's simple, catchy, and cleverly represents what the shop is all about. I was excited to try their boba tea, but I must say, I was a bit hesitant due to the price point. At 80 THB per cup, it was definitely on the pricey side.
However, the tea was exquisite, with the perfect balance of sweetness and flavor. The texture of the boba was also excellent, chewy and flavorful.
Aside from the delicious tea, the atmosphere of the shop was one of a kind. The shop's design made it an ideal place to take photos for Instagram, and it was clear that many people were taking advantage of the opportunity. I particularly enjoyed the attention to detail and how the shop was designed to fit perfectly with the theme of tea.
If you'd like some kind of an instagramable one of a kind boba tea (or just cafe in general) to visit while in Chiang Mai, Tea of us sure can be one of on the list!
