We eat the shabu, we have that famous wind turbines in the background, surrounded by nature. It feels like a dream!
Khao Kho
Still in Khao Kho District, Petchabun, Thailand and the only few things we're craving were BBQ, Hot pots, shabu and that sort of things as the weather is always quite chilly. This either about the last or the last one of Khao Kho content so please bear with me! I love it here though so sure would love to share as much as I can with you here so next time when you're in Thailand, Khao Kho might be one of the top lists you considering visiting! :)
Wind turbine shabu! (ชาบูกังหัน)
So here we go again, we went to a shabu place. Not a regular one, but it's one with one of the prettiest views in Khao Kho district! Good food, good view, result in good mood and other things follow #lol Anyways, for those who don't know what shabu is, it's more like hot pot with your choice of soup. Load tons of meat and veggies, again, of your choices! And the name, just name after the kind of food and the view from the restaurant.
Before the meal though, we ordered a plate of deep fried stuffed wontons as appetizer. Quite good! Then for the shabu itself, I think we went with a small set. Got soooo many kinds of meat and seafood all in one plate including tofu, meat balls, fish balls and eggs as well. Another secret I found is that, putting some pumpkin also makes the soup uniquely sweeter! so, next time will try do that at home! The dipping sauces are great as well. Two kinds to swap it up so that we don't get to bored of just one specific type. Chilis and garlic are unlimited so, dump as much as you like in your bowl! I love it a lot on mine so that's perfect!
As mentioned, it was such a lovely view from here and the food is also hard to beat. Love it and totally revisit so yes, totally recommened!
