Yoyoyo Runners !!!
Sunday is obviously Long Run day.
After a breakfast full of energy and vitamins (a kiwi and some juice), I headed out with my crew to a really beautiful route for our long run.
This route is actually part of the “Ioannina Lake Run 30K,” which takes place every September — and it’s definitely a race I plan to run.

Overall, there wasn’t anything in particular that stood out — and in a way, that alone stands out to me.
It was a really beautiful route, as you can see in the photos, and that definitely plays a big role in your mindset. I think that was the key factor in getting the long run done smoothly, along with the fact that I was running with company, which helps you stay focused and relaxed at the right pace.
That’s why it didn’t come out at the planned 5:40 pace and ended up at 5:16 instead.
