Yoyoyo Runners !
Today started off strong with a few hours attending classes at my university. The weather was sunny with no clouds in the sky, but with a noticeable drop in temperature. I got ready right away to head to the track after having my usual breakfast.
Workout Timeline: //Check out my workout on Strava here.
- 2.5K Warm Up (6:00/km)
- 6x(100 (22") + 1:30R walk)
- 2' R
- 3x(15' (3.3K, 4:30/km) + 1' R)
- 2.5K Cool Down (7:00/km)
More details:
- As you can see, the warm-up went well.
- Then came the 100m strides, which for some reason I really enjoyed today — I felt like I found the right rhythm.
- After that, the hard part of the workout began. The first 3.3K came out quite fast; honestly, I got a bit carried away, so I took a 1.5-minute break instead of 1 minute.
- The second 15’ felt really good and I enjoyed it a lot.
- During the last one, I started to feel a bit of fatigue toward the end, but it was controlled. It ended up slightly shorter and I liked it the most of all.
From here on:
There’s only one workout left on Thursday (15/1), and then I’ll rest for Sunday’s 5K race. I might add something very easy in between.
I’ve also signed up for my first trail race here in my city on 1/2 — 12K with 700m D+.
That’s all for today’s workout. Wishing everyone a great continuation.
LET’S BREAK ALL THE LIMITS!!! 🚀
