Since I have been active in gardening, I have always spent the morning and evening activities before dusk in the garden. There are so many satisfying things in there.
I can do physical activity as well as do the gardening activity. Sometimes I just go for a walk if there is nothing I have to do about caring for my plants.
This afternoon I walked a little further to my sister's garden. Every now and then a week I come here.
When I arrived there were plenty of ripe bananas available. This is not the first time I have taken bananas from my sister's garden. In fact, I often make ice cream and cakes from fresh bananas from this garden.
My sister is a skilled person who grows many crops and even raises fish for harvest which is then sold in the big market.
Look at some of these banana trees all bearing fruit. We don't take mature bananas at the same time. We let the bananas ripen naturally on the tree.
So far no fruit-eating animals have eaten these bananas.
Fresh Ripe Bananas for Cake Making
I wanted to make banana cakes and I am grateful that there are bananas that are perfectly ripe and ready for me to take home.
This type of banana remains green even though it is ripe. So to distinguish between ripe or not, we must touch the fruit carefully before harvesting.
These are my banana crops today. These are more than enough to make a delicious banana cake for my family.
Thank you nature for providing me a wonderful thing. And I was amazed by how hard my sister worked in her garden for all of this. I hope I can follow in her footsteps to succeed in growing plants that are useful for making food and natural medicine.
Have you ever picked a ripe banana directly from the tree? It is a satisfying activity that you should try. :)
