Rainy days in hot regions like Indonesia are good seasons for wild mushrooms. Every morning I have an abundance of wild mushroom stocks growing in the wood.
If not taken every day, the wild mushrooms will rot. So now I always think about variations on the recipes for mushrooms so that my family and I don't get bored of consuming them.

The previous recipe might be a little complicated. This time I will present a recipe that I believe will be simple. Guess what? I mix wild mushrooms with instant noodles.
So my important task is only to sauté mushrooms, then mix them with instant noodles that have previously been cooked with boiling water.
Here I use instant noodles without broth.
Cooking Method
- Step 1
Cook the noodles in boiling water first while preparing the spices for sauteing mushrooms.
Do not overcook the noodles because later the noodles will be cooked again briefly with sauteed mushrooms.
- Step 2
Sauté chopped onion and garlic until fragrant. Also, add other herbs in your kitchen. Here I am using the bay leaves. You can use basil or rosemary.
- Step 3
After the spices are fragrant, add the mushrooms. Also, add additional seasonings such as salt and pepper. Stir well. Give a little water so it doesn't burn. Cook until cooked.
- Step 4
After the mushrooms are cooked, add the instant noodles that have been cooked beforehand. And add spicy seasoning.
Here I use super spicy spices to suit my taste.
Stir until blended and cook briefly, stirring constantly so that the noodles don't burn.
- Step 5
Remove and serve with a sprinkling of fried onions. You can add grated cheese if you like.
For plating, I add spicy cassava chips. You can add potato chips.
