On the frontpage of my Hive profile, ‘passion for cooking and sweets’ is part of the information I detailed when I joined this social network. For me, baking is more than just baking and cooking; I am in love with the effect of sweets on the palate and above all, with a good coffee.... I am not one of those who combine a piece of cake with soda, never.... I am one of those who waits every afternoon to have a cup of black coffee with little sugar and a good sweet, fluffy and delicious ‘companion’.....
In fact, as I write these lines, I take advantage of the convenience of the occasion and decide to have breakfast with a good pond cake and a perfectly balanced cup of the best infusion ever invented by mankind; yes, coffee. During this week it hasn't stopped drizzling and raining and the weather is also an accomplice of our little cravings... And let's be honest, life without a good sweet wouldn't have the slightest flavour... And yes, I know, it might not be politically correct to admit this, but back me up, hehe.... You know I'm right.

And if you think about it, there are more of us who love and live for coffee and its accompaniments, than not.... Normally, I wouldn't have uploaded this kind of content on Hive... But after thinking about it and meditating, I could see the importance of this social network, which is none other than the support, the sense of community and above all, the empathy that hy in users who interact every day. In addition to that, I myself have followed and seen many really talented entrepreneurs; that if it hadn't been for Hive, I wouldn't have been able to meet...
In this sense, now that I think about it, it is also a new way to give free rein to what I love most; cooking and making sweets.... If you look closely, people are not seen doing the things they really love. I myself, for years, have done many activities or functions, which have been very far from the things I love.... Not out of obligation, but because part of our sharpness is doing things that don't satisfy us but pay the bills at home... (Like going to work in a boring office from Monday to Friday...).
Anyway, nothing has changed as far as my obligations are concerned....But at least I have started to be a little less selfish with myself. I have also been inspired by my relationship with my daughter, who has always been by my side and who is my partner, professional taster and above all, my faithful companion; as well as being critical when it's time for such a set. It's funny, but as human beings, we tend to recognise when something excites and inspires us but it rarely coincides with what we learn at school or what we are taught at home....
Who would have thought it? The habit of drinking coffee every day, the complicity of having my daughter by my side, who without perhaps knowing it is the source of all my strengths and joys.Writing and describing a reality, which I hope will be part of a better future; one full of hope and love. At the end of the day, if drinking a coffee in the quiet of the afternoon serves to give us peace and calm, accompanying it with a delicious sweet, could only make it even richer. I am in love with coffee but also with getting into the kitchen and making things that give me so much happiness and pleasure. After all, we love to love and show those we love, don't you think?P.S.
