So, We are here again on another Sunday, It's a day where we can do some creative tasks and share them with our Hive family.
Today we decided to Bake Almond Cake
let's Start.
Ingredients
- 3 Eggs
- Butter 3 Table Spoon
- 1 Cup icing sugar
- Half Cup Oil
- 30 almonds
- Dry milk powder 1 & 1/2 TableSpoon
- Baking Powder 1/3 TeaSpoon
- Two cups of refined wheat flour.
- Vanilla Essence 4-5 drops.
- 5-6 Tablespoon Butter Milk.
- 2 TableSpoon Jam.
Cooking Procedure
First of all, add butter in a large bowl.
after adding Butter, add icing Suger in the bowl and start beating it with the beater. Butter and icing sugar will get mix with each other to form a creamy structure.
now add eggs to the Bowl and beat it with the beater.
Now add vanilla essence to the bowl and beat it.
Now Bring an oil and add to the mixture.
Beat it well with the beater.
Now separate the 3 TableSpoon Refined Wheat Flour in the separate bowl from the 2 Cups Refined Wheat Flour,
Add the baking powder to it.
Now add 1 and 1/2 Tablespoon of dry milk powder into the bowl.
Now add 1 and 1/2 Tablespoon of Crushed almond powder into the bowl.
now add all these items to the big Bowl containing Refined Wheat Flour
Now pour it with a stainer and add it to the mixture in the big bowl.
Mix it well.
Now take a bowl which will be used to bake the Cake, Greece it with oil properly.
use the butter paper, we didn't have it, so, we used simple paper. Make a shape like shown in the picture.
now add the mixture to the baking bowl.
tap the bowl to remove the extra air from the cake mixture.
Baking requires baking, but we didn't have it, so we are using a pressure cooker to bake the cake. Take a Steel Plate and keep it in the pressure cake in the opposite direction. Now keep the bowl containing the mixture on the plate in the pressure cooker.
Now close the Pressure cooker and make sure to remove the pressure cooker whistle cap. Keep it on a light flame for almost 50 minutes for baking purposes.
Now we will prepare the upper topping, Take the apple jam.
Take two Table Spoons of jam.
add it to the frying pan.
Cooking it for some time will change into liquid form.
Now remove the Pressure cooker top and check whether your cake has baked properly or not, you can check it with sticks as shown in the picture. Take it out in the plate.
Now take the liquid jam and place it properly on the upper side of the cake. Decorate it with almonds.
This is the final picture of the Cake we baked. It was so yummy that, I asked my wife to bake it again tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.
