Hello everyone, how are you doing today? Hope you are having a great time. This will be Week 205 Edition 03 of our Weekly Featured Content.
So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun that we did not want it to end. We are currently on the third topic for this week, which is “SOMETHING GOOD, SOMETHING BAD”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic, which was “A NEW LANGUAGE”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community, telling us about the need to learn a new language in the modern world. With how easy it is for people to translate languages and how people can now easily use AI and other software to do the job, instead of having to personally learn the language.
We got to see that a lot went into learning these languages, and it can take more than a year to be good enough to hold conversations. With AI, all that is eliminated. And of course, there are those who are for the idea and those who are against it. It was an enlightening topic, indeed.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w205e2 tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there, it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. And so, the posts that will be featured not just for their exceptional content, but also for their level of engagement with other authors, will be listed below.
Featured Contents
ARE WE LOSING THE BEAUTY OF LANGUAGE TO SMART TECH? by
*This author told us that learning a new language was a great thing because technology will not always be at our disposal. While technology facilitates the process, knowing is always more absolute. And with the way things are going, there’s really no need for language barriers to exist. *
*For this author, he told us that when we have the opportunity to learn a new language, we should embrace it with both arms, because we might never know for sure when we’ll need the skill. And while AI might be good for immediate translation, knowing the language will provide more context and depth, something that AI grossly lacks.”
CHINESE TOURISTS BOLD MOVE: TRAVELING THE GLOBE WITHUT LEARNING A WORD- GENIUS OR GUTSY by
For this author, he told us that he speaks multiple languages and encourages people to try to learn more than one language. Even if it’s not for a career move, but just as a hobby, because one can never know for sure when such a skill will come in handhy.
All of the above contents were supported by our official curation account lazy-panda with an extra amount. The first 3 authors will receive 100 ECENCY Points [ Sponsored By Ecency Team (

But then, we have some honorable mentions listed below:
