Today I came up with a recipe of Indo - chinese appetizer Gobhi Manchurian. It is very famous dish everywhere in streets and as well as in the restaurants. It is a fusion of indo and chinese. Gobhi is Cauliflower which is deep fried and tossed in hot Manchurian sauce.
It is very delicious appetizer and most Indians love this dish.
There are two version of this dish one is dry and the other is with the gravy. Today I am sharing a dry recipe of Gobhi manchurian.
Lets start to make this recipe-
INGREDIENTS
•cauliflower florets-1 cup
•corn flour- 2 tbspn
•onions- 1 cup finely chopped.
•spring onions-½cup
•ginger- finely chopped 1 tbspn
•garlic - finely chopped 1 tbspn
•soy sauce-1 tbspn
•vinegar-½ tbspn
•ketchup -½ tbspn
•red chili sauce-½ tbspn
•salt- to the taste
•blackpepper-2 tbspn
•all purpose flour- 4 tbspn
•redchili powder-½ tspn
•oil- for deep frying.
METHOD
1.take a fresh cauliflower.
2.now cut them into florets and clean them.
3.put all the florets into hot water of salt and rest them in the hot water for 5 mins.
4.now drain the florests in a colander and allow the florets to drain completely for some time.
5.now in a bowl take All purpose flour, corn flour, red chili powder, salt and black pepper. Mix all and add water make a flowing batter.
6.add florets.
7.dip the florests well to caot them nicely.
8.heat oil in a kadhai or pan for deep frying the florests.
9.now gently slide the florets one by one in the hot oil. Keep the flame medium.
10.keep frying stirring often. Fry carefully..donot burn the florets so stir it for 2 to 4 mins by stirring.
11.now drain the florets in a tissue paper.
12.now heat oil in a pan.
Choped the onions and capsicum
13.add chopped onions.
14.then add spring onions and stir it for 2 mins.
15.then add ginger and garlic. Saute for 1min.
16.add chopped capsicum. Saute this for 2 mins.
17.add saoy sauce.
18.add red chili sauce and vinegar.
19.mix all well.
20.now in a small bowl add cornflour and water. Make a slurry.
21.now add the slurry to this.
22.now add toamto ketchup and spring onions. Cook until the sauce thickens. Add pepper.
23.when the sauce turns thick off the flame add fried gobhi florets. Mix all well and transfer it in a bowl.
Garnish with some spring onions and Serve 🔥hot!!
