Today is a very anxious day, because today Cyclone Mokha will cross our coast, due to which today's sky is partly cloudy and not so sunny, the environment is changing very often. However, we are hopeful that there will not be too much damage and that everyone will be able to stay safely.
Today I am going to share with you one of my favorite great tasting recipes with creative sunday theme, it is not a different taste but also a great feeling and that is Yardlong bean recipe collected from my vegetable garden. To be honest, there are quite a lot of yardlong beans in my vegetable garden, due to which I have the opportunity to make several recipes.
I am interested in sharing some more different recipes, if I get a chance I will definitely share some new flavors with you. Although the recipes in our region are a bit different and spicy. Because we always like extra spices in cooking. Because spicy cooking is a bit more flavorful as we enjoy the recipes with rice.
Recipe Ingredients-
- Yardlong bean 100 grams
- Lentils 100 grams
- Onion 1
- Garlic 1
- 2 dry chillies
- 4 raw chilies
- 1 tomato
- Salt 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Chilli powder 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
- Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoon
- Oil 2 tsp
First, take the lentils in a small bowl and soak them in water for some time, then clean the Yardlong beans and cut them into small slices.
Then I put a pan on the stove and heat the oil, after that I fried it lightly with dry chillies, garlic and onions.
Then add all the spices and ginger garlic paste with them, grind it with light water.
Then I mixed it with tomato slices, soaked lentils and Yardlong bean slices.
Then I covered it with a lid for some time with light water, after that I sliced the raw chillies and reduced the amount of broth and took it down for serving.
The recipe is ready to serve, see how the final scene looks like the recipe. Sometimes we reduce the amount of broth and make the recipe a little dry, it tastes a little different. But if there is broth, it is good to eat with rice.
Recipes can be made in any way or with any vegetable, but taste should always be kept in mind, along with nutrition. All dishes made with coarse yardlong beans are very tasty.
