Today I want to share with you my new musical composition in the genre of romantic lyrical hip-hop. A track with a warm tube vibe and coziness, I think on this Friday day it will be like a balm for the soul for the listener, I wish you a pleasant listening, let's go!

About Track:

It all started with the fact that I got a call from one of my friends who is engaged in rap, writes poetry. He asked me to make music for him so that he could sing his song to it. The main point in his message was that the track would be lyrical and have a drop of romance and sadness at its core. I decided that it would be great to make it out of guitars and violins, since these are the most emotional instruments in hip-hop culture, apart from the piano, of course. The guitar melody turned out to be quite simple, but it was it that set the mood of my composition and gave me a springboard to develop my composition. It's simple - when you start working on a new piece of music, you need to start from the foundation, from the motive and harmony, especially if the composition is from non-synthesized instruments. So I took the first steps in my work, then I began to create additional melodies on the violin and cello, I chose the key of C minor for my composition, I think it was the right decision, because in other keys I did not get such a vibe and such a soulful mood compositions.

As for the drums and percussions, my choice was obvious here, I focused on a soft type beat, although I also had to compose a section with drums quite a bit, since it didn’t immediately sound so soft and airy, of course I had to tinker with this matter , but I knew that it would be good to do everything right. Then I began to add bass, oh, this reese bass, I use it so often that I already know what presets I need to do so that it sounds atmospheric and soft, I chose a vintage synth for the bass - Repro-5, buzz! I don’t see the point in going into details on small details, since it seems that if you listen to the composition, then everything is perfectly felt. Let's talk about processing. I came up with the idea to make a crackling vinyl record, as well as some VHS tape noise. For these things, I use the processing plugin - Retro Color 20. I hung it directly on the master channel, so that the signal processing would go to the entire composition at once, of course, I didn’t mix these processing too much so as not to destroy my soft sound, just in moderation . I also used a compressor - OTT, as I said earlier, I use it in all my tracks and almost always I have it on the master channel and it very, very much enlivens the sound, gives it liveliness, so to speak.

After I finished the composition, I called my friend and told him - everything is ready bro! I sent him a track to which he replied that this is what you need! I was glad that I hit the target, although I knew that this is exactly what he wanted. My friend received an arrangement for his new song, and I received respect, experience and a new job in my musical piggy bank.

I also wanted to tell you that today I will release two of my musical compositions - Morning Star and Snowflex. I shared these works here on the Hive, so that you were the first to hear them before the release. Let me remind you that both compositions are made in the style of Soul Liquid Drum and Bass, melodic and rhythmic in the best traditions of this musical genre. Today they will be available on all digital platforms and streaming services, so I am very happy that today I have such an important event. And in November I have two more releases planned, which I will tell you a little later, I need to get ready to announce these tracks to you, of course I will share them here on Hive with you, since I always share with you the first thing .
