Have you ever been in a fairy tale, where in the middle of the forest water flows, falling from the stones, forming many fine waterfalls... Where paths among trees covered with green moss lead you to new, amazing beauty of water streams and lakes... Vines hang from trees, forming magical thickets .. The water is covered with maple leaves, which lying on the nature pool, forming whimsical patterns on the water canvas... ?
My friend showed me a photo of a unique beautiful lake under falling water jets! It turned out to be near Antalya, at a distance of about 30 km. So with a rental car, we decided to explore the place.
We arrived at the Kurşunlu Waterfall waterfall at 6 p.m. The weather was gloomy. It's raining...
First, we walked along the alley, where there were several restaurants, still hoping that accidentally lost late customers would stop by for dinner :) But our goal was to be in time to see a gem that was hidden somewhere behind the trees! What we saw after walking 100 meters was incredible! A calm turquoise lake surrounded by deep green thickets of exotic trees... And above it, water fell from the rock in many thin waterfalls!
We stopped as if under a spell, afraid to disturb this natural silence and mysterious atmosphere... My girls climbed on a big stone above the water to take a photo from above the lake. There were a few other girls walking around here...
I always wonder why chaos in nature is always so beautiful. Various branches of trees that have fallen into the water look a wonderful addition to this picture, which changes according to the season. In autumn, it acquires a special magic thanks to the crimson colors of the leaves that cover the land and water...
Water acquires a completely different content under fallen leaves. It becomes quiet, dark and mysterious, as if a strange creature lives in the depths...
At first we thought that there was only one lake, but my Darinka saw a wooden bridge and ran further... After a few minutes, she returned, excitedly telling us that there is another lake further on! And we went further to explore the territory of the mysterious space. There was no one else but us there!
We carefully stepped on the rounded planks of the wooden bridges that ran in the middle of the water kingdom! It was wet and slippery, so we moved slowly. I was happy to take photos of these beautiful combinations of natural elements that always fill my soul with harmony and energy!
We continued on a mysterious path that led us between rocks and trees covered with green moss. These tree roots looked mystical...
Stone stairs invited us to discover the next mysterious lake! And now another place of incredible beauty appeared before our eyes! The water fell from a small height in a roaring waterfall and the dark blue lake invited you to swim in it!
If it was the first half of the day, I would definitely dive in! This is my favorite activity - swimming in the wild. But it was too late, it started to rain and it was already getting dark. The trees that fell on the water created beautiful shadows ...
Next we saw a sign: Osmanli restaurant. My children would have liked to have tea, but unfortunately there was no one here. I imagine how comfortable it was to sit on the shore of this water paradise in the summer!
Here, a wooden bridge of a very interesting design - similar to a tunnel - was built across the lake. Of course, we arranged a photo session here :)
We went to the open terrace of the restaurant with colorful chairs, which was located over the water!
I saw a funny picture: several ducks were sleeping there, standing, hiding their heads in their feathers )))
I sat and enjoyed the sounds of falling water! At such moments, I always feel grateful to the Creator for the beautiful world in which I live! Did you enjoy walking with me?
